Our Croatian sailing adventure with The Moorings was flawless. From the outset, The Moorings staff made every detail easy. The online details were simple, accurate, very thorough and the entire process was very efficient. They handled all of the details, down to helping arrange transportation to and from the marina. This all made first time sailing a breeze. Our 50′ catamaran was quite comfortable and completely stocked. Our captain, Deni, was the best. He planned and executed a perfect itinerary. His morning briefings started each day. But can I rave a bit about our chef, Aleks? She prepared and served the most delicious meals each day and was such a pleasure to be around. I can not recommend The Moorings in Croatia highly enough – especially if you are lucky enough to have Deni and Aleks as your crew.

An excellent experience. The boat was in great shape and sailed well. The best was the staff at Agana base. They were proactive, professional and very helpful with any requests we had. I would recommend Moorings and Agana Base without hesitation.

Our crew was fantastic, the boat was clean and well-equipped. Our crew really listened to what we wanted to do and planned a perfect itinerary for us.

The Moorings team members were all professional, helpful, and engaged. The vessel was exceptionally well prepared, clean, well outfitted, and in great working order. The briefs were helpful.

Crewed Yacht Charter FAQs

While bareboat, skippered and crewed yacht charters are all stylish, fun and relaxing, they each offer a unique way to sail and explore…

On a bareboat charter , you will take responsibility for skippering your own yacht and guiding yourself around your chosen destination. No crew will join you on board, although our base crew will be on hand to support you whenever necessary. On a skippered charter , an experienced skipper will take the helm for all or part of your vacation so you can relax up on deck when you want, while also having the choice to guide yourself around for part of the charter.

These differ from a crewed yacht charter, as a Captain and Chef team will join you for your entire all inclusive sailing vacation and take care of everything so that you can focus on relaxing and unwinding. Like the bareboat charter, you will still have the freedom to choose your own itinerary and, similarly to the skippered charter, your experienced crew will be able to share local knowledge and tips to make your charter even more special.
