CR 310 Sweedish built yacht, bought by the current owner new in 2002, re-rigged in 2021, new batteries and spray hood in 2022, old spray hood still on for winter, a realy well presented yacht that has been clearly cherished and those wishing to view will not be dissapointed, more pictures to upload next week.
CR310 Yacht, Sweedish built yacht with the build qaulity, bought by the current owner new in 2002 she presents exceptionally well, very well maintained by her owner and completely re-rigged in 2021, all sea cocks replaced in 2018, new batteries in 2022, hull fully stripped back 5/6 years ago and epoxied and fresh anti foul applied, recent new spray hood, old one also still good and currently on for winter, a really well built yacht that will not dissapoint upon viewing, Just had fresh anti foul applied and now re-launched to her berth at shamrock Quay Marina where she can be viewed by appointment, Emails and calls answered 7 days a week till 10pm

Review of CR 310
Basic specs..
The hull is made of fibreglass. Generally, a hull made of fibreglass requires only a minimum of maintenance during the sailing season. And outside the sailing season, just bottom cleaning and perhaps anti-fouling painting once a year - a few hours of work, that's all.
The interior is like many other boats made of mahogany. Mahogany belongs to the hardwood species, known for being water-repellent and resistant to decay. It has an attractive wood grain and holds wood polish and varnish well. The boat is equipped with 2 cabins, 6 berths, a galley, 150.0 liter fresh water capacity and toilet facility.
The boat equipped with a fractional rig. A fractional rig has smaller headsails which make tacking easier, which is an advantage for cruisers and racers, of course. The downside is that having the wind from behind often requires a genaker or a spinnaker for optimal speed.
L-shape fin keel
The CR 310 is equipped with a L keel. An L-shape keel is a bulb keel with the shape as an L. This keel is less exposed to seaweed, fishing nets and lines.
The keel is made of lead. Compared with iron, lead has the advantage of being 44% heavier, which allows a smaller keel and hence less water resistance and higher speed.
The boat can enter most marinas as the draft is just about 1.60 - 1.70 meter (5.25 - 5.55 ft) dependent on the load. See immersion rate below.
CR 310 is typically equipped with an inboard Volvo MD2030 diesel engine at 28 hp (20 kW). Calculated max speed is about 6.5 knots
The transmission is a saildrive.
The fuel tank has a capacity of 60.0 liters (15 US gallons, 13 imperial gallons).
