The Blue Dahlia can ensure that you are covered, literally!  The Blue Dahlia has a custom canopy shade that attaches to the bow and will keep you out of the sun but not out of the fun. The Cannon Salutation

This tradition began with the British Royal Navy and continues with the U.S. Navy. Cannons or guns are fired at sunset when the flag is taken down, as a sign of respect. In the days when ships were armed with cannons, it could take as long as twenty minutes to load and fire. When a ship emptied her guns in salute, she rendered herself powerless and showed they were no threat to nearby forts. Over time, this gesture became a sign of respect. Day-Sail Cruise

Price includes a delightful escape to the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Relax and enjoy your sailing experience on our beautiful catamaran while watching the abundant sea life and native birds of Southwest Florida.

During our day sails, we do stop for approximately 35 minutes at one of the many beautiful beaches of Southwest Florida – Keeywaydin Island, a barrier island in South Naples to swim, explore , and collect shells.

(Please note stopping at the beach is based on weather conditions. If it is too rough/choppy in the Gulf, the Captain may choose not to include a stop at the beach. Also know that to get to shore, you must swim in. We drop anchor in approx. 6 feet of water, approx. 30 yards off shore. Life jackets and floaties provided if needed. You are also welcome to stay on the boat to soak in the sun and scenery during the stop if you do not want to swim.)

• Complementary – soda, water, beer and chardonnay included
• You can also bring aboard additional food/snacks and beverages (no red wine please) on-board. Due to insurance liability, hard liquor is not allowed on our vessels.

Your Schedule

Book months in advance or last minute. We can arrange a detailed itinerary or just plan to board the boat and see where it takes you. Either way, we go where you want to go and see what you want to see.

Our professional U.S Coast Guard Captains have years of experience navigating waters around the world. Their number one priority is providing you a safe, comfortable trip.

We maintain a fleet of new performance boats acquired specifically for comfortably and safely operating private day trips on ocean water. All required safety equipment is provided for your peace of mind.

Private Concierge

Many of our clients make us their first call. We are happy to recommend hotel accommodations, restaurants and local attractions such as museums, festivals and other special events that will compliment any boat trips we plan for you.

On Board Catering

Guests are always welcome and encouraged to bring food and drink aboard. We also work with select local caterers at all ports to furnish whatever suits your taste from simple sandwiches and ice tea, to hors d'oeuvre and a champaigne bar with server.

Restaurant Reservations

A recent trend for elegant entertaining is to travel by boat for a cocktail cruise, followed by dinner at your favorite waterfront dining establishment. The evening is complete with a sunset and/or moonlight cruise home. We are happy to suggest and secure reservations.

Hotel Bookings

We work regularly with all of the top waterfront hotels in South Florida and are happy to suggest accommodations for guests. We provide the same special service for our clients booking overnight tours with us to ports like Key West, Ft. Lauderdale, Sarasota or Clearwater.

Florida History

Our on board staff are knowledgable about local history and are anxious to share that knowledge. For avid history buffs, we can often arrange for a local museum curator to make a presentation usually for only a small donation to their organization.

Have A Great Time

Our goal is to make your trip a fabulous, fun, safe and memorable experience. The Captain is in charge of all activities during your trip including consumption of alcoholic beverages, smoking and pets. No illegal drugs are allowed on any of our boats.

Interpreter

For those foreign speaking guests not traveling with their own interpreter, we can try to provide one. Requests in advance are appreciated and recommended. For last minute trips we certainly will make our best effort to accommodate your request.

Entertaining high profile individuals, families and groups from around the world is a regular occurrence for our professional staff. We will always respect you and your groups privacy and will recommend trips and stops that will suit your need for privacy.

We try very hard to offer our clients an awesome experience with the hope they will call us every time. All prices are hourly plus fuel based on that days dock pump price. Sunrise trips are least expensive while prices increase later in the day. Overnight trips are quoted individually.

Cancellation

Once a reservation has been secured and payment made cancellations are not allowed. We have never cancelled a trip except when unacceptable weather causes a safety concern. Refunds will only be made if we are able to fill your vacancy.

"I was born in the panhandle of Florida on Pensacola beach where fishing and playing in the ocean was a big part of my life. I moved to the Florida Keys when I was 15 and learned all aspects of commercial fishing for about 15 years from long-lining for shark and swordfish to shrimp boats, net boats, lobster and crab boats and hook and line fishing for snapper and grouper. I have spent most of my life on the water. I have been in the Naples area about 15 years now. I spent 10 years in the Everglades National park as a captain and a naturalist guide, so I have extensive knowledge of the SW Florida Ecosystem as well as all of its flora and fauna.    I have been captaining fishing charters for 6 years in and around Naples Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, but in total, I have been fishing the waters of SW and S Florida for the last 30 years. Through the many years of travel on the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico, I had many adventures. One of them was rescuing Cuban refugees in the Florida Straits. Our charterts are private meaning it is only you (your group) and the Captain on the boat. The trip size is limited to 5-6 (meaning maximum 5 adults or 3 adults and 3 children) guests for the fishing charters and 6 guests for our sunset and eco charters. Naples to Key West to Naples

Enjoy Florida’s scenic west coast on your Naples to Key West to Naples yacht charter itinerary. This is only one example of an itinerary you may enjoy. We will work with you and your yacht’s captain and crew to make a custom plan for you and your group.

Day 1 | Naples

Naples is a destination that has many five-star resorts and top-notch golf courses. Miles beaches with calm water and soft white sand embrace this coastal city. Before departing for Cape Romano, browse high-end boutiques such as Petunias of Naples or Rouze. Enjoy lunch at Captain & Krewe or The Cafe.

As you make your next stop, keep your eye out for manatees. They love the warm water close to shore.

Day 2 | Cape Romano

Cape Romano is a nature reserve famous for fishing and boating, and it’s also known for a group of unique abandoned dome houses. Explore the area in a kayak, fish, look for shells, and view the native wildlife, including shorebirds and dolphins.

Its natural environment and isolation make Cape Romano seem otherworldly. Each year, thousands of migratory birds land in the area, making its ecosystem extremely important.

The beaches here are pristine and largely uninhabited. Soak up the sunshine, go swimming, and observe the local wildlife. Walk from one sandbar to another, enjoying the sun and the area’s rugged beauty. If you want to feel at the world’s edge, this is your place.

Days 3 and 4 | Dry Tortugas (2 Days)

The Dry Tortugas National Park consists of seven tiny coral-and-sand islands. Visitors can only reach the park by private boat, ferry, or seaplane.

Once you arrive at Fort Jefferson National Park, spend the day exploring. The Civil War-era Fort Jefferson, one of the most significant masonry structures in the Western Hemisphere, is the remote park’s awe-inspiring centerpiece. This is a fantastic place for jet skiing, paddle boarding, fishing, and snorkeling.

Note that the fort is ancient, and you should be cautious when exploring. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are best for walking in this area.

Days 5 and 6 | Key West (2 Days)

Arrive at Key West, FL, the southernmost city in the continental United States.

Spend the afternoon browsing eclectic shops and visiting museums to learn about Key West’s colorful past. Bar hopping on Duval Street is another popular activity!

Take a hike, visit the shipwreck museum, and learn about all the shipwrecks in the area. Visit the Ernest Hemingway Home , home to famed author Ernest Hemingway. He wrote many of his novels in Key West. Some believe the saloon at what is now Captain Tony’s was the inspiration for a bar Hemingway called “Freddy’s” in his Key West novel To Have and Have Not .

Have your picture taken at the Southernmost point. Then, after a day of seeing the sights, make your way to Mallory Square . Here the sunset festival happens every night and kicks off about an hour before sunset. Enjoy local foods and watch fun street performers.

Day 7 | Naples

Return to Naples. If you have time, visit Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens or take a guided kayak tour. Other places to visit include East West Fine Art, Historic Palm Cottage, or Naples Pier.
