M3 has a GRP hull with a GRP superstructure.

Creative, intelligent and client-centric design. This is the philosophy at the heart of De Basto Designs, and one that has carried Luiz De Basto to the forefront of luxury yacht and superyacht design since establishing his Miami studio in 1995.

Her interior design is by Daniella Speicht.

M3 also features naval architecture by Intermarine Savannah.

Buillt in 2002 by PJ Savannah (formerly Intermarine Savannah), AQUASITION is a 44.20/145ft motor yacht with classic exterior lines created by Luiz De Basto Designs. AQUASITION was previously called Lady M Ii Of St. Vincent; Raven. Luiz De Basto Designs / Ari Cross-Buchanan/Hansen & Associates was involved in her interior design brief. This striking yacht can sleep up to 10 people in 5 cabins on board and has a total of 6 crew members.

NOTABLE FEATURES OF AQUASITION

The shipyard work & designing of luxury yacht aquasition.

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Intermarine and Luiz De Basto Designs. The technical naval architect plans are products of Intermarine. Motor Yacht AQUASITION received her elegant interior designing from the interior design skills of Luiz De Basto Designs / Ari Cross-Buchanan/Hansen & Associates. Created at Pj Savannah (Formerly Intermarine Savannah) the yacht was constructed in the known yacht building country, the United States. She was successfully launched in 2002 before being transferred to the owner. A fairly large feeling is manifested with a total beam (width) of 8.53 m or 28 ft. With a 2.16m (7.1ft) draught (maximum depth) she is reasonably shallow. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure above deck is created from composite. In 2008 further refit work and updating was in addition finished.

M/Y AQUASITION Engineering & Speed:

She sustains twin robust CATERPILLAR diesel engine(s) and can find a comparatively good top end continuous speed of 20 knots. The engine of the AQUASITION produces 2250 horse power (or 1656 kilowatts). Her total HP is 4500 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3311. She is driven by twin screw propellers. As for the yacht’s stabalisers she uses Naiad. With respect to bow thruster maneuverability she was fitted with Naiad. This yacht’s spirited cruising speed is 18 knots which offers a range of 2600.

Having quarters for a limit of 10 welcome guests staying on board, the AQUASITION accommodates everyone luxuriously. Under normal conditions she utilises approx 6 proficient qualified crew to manage.

Intermarine motor yacht M3 for sale

The 44.2 metre motor yacht M3 has been listed for sale by Thom Conboy and Chris Collins at Ocean Independence.

Built in GRP by US yard Intermarine to a design by Luiz de Basto and ABS classed, M3 was delivered in 2002 and had an extensive $3 million refit in 2016. Accommodation is for 10 guests in five cabins consisting of a master suite, VIP suite, two doubles and a twin, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and marble en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for eight crew in five cabins on this yacht for sale .

In the main saloon, the striking design features include black walnut hardwood flooring and gloss maple wood joinery. There is comfortable seating on port and starboard cream settees plus a pair of matching ottomans, while entertainment comes courtesy of a large flat-screen television set and studio surround sound system. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for 10 guests around a Makassar ebony table, and a built-in marble-topped buffet stores china, glassware and silver.

The main aft deck is fully equipped for al fresco entertaining and dining, offering a table, chairs and a full wet bar with four bar stools. Up on the flybridge is a Jacuzzi, wet bar, barbecue grill, lounging and seating areas. Twin 2,250hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 2,600 nautical miles.

On display at the Fort Lauderdale boat show, M3 is asking $12,495,000.
