But one of the most expensive single purchases Jordan ever made with his money to date was on an $80 million yacht named ‘Joy'. What's more, that's not even the only yacht Jordan owns. He also has a $21 million yacht called ‘Mr. Terrible', which is pretty fitting when you compare the two yachts he has to his name.

First acquired by Jordan in 2016, the vessel spans 230 feet in length and outlines at almost 10 feet. Its maximum speed is 16 knots while its cruising speed is 12 knots. He was first spotted cruising with the yacht on his way to the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy with some of his closest friends. Lastly, the superstructure is built of Aluminum, the decks are made of Teak wood, and the entire ship is insulated with glass aluminum to accommodate the changing weather and was specially developed by Bannenberg & Rowell Designs.

This is where you'll find the yacht's penthouse suite, personal office, and a terrace to check out the best views of the ocean.

If you plan to stay active while on the yacht, it has you covered too. It also comes with a gym and an indoor basketball court. After all, what more can you expect from the yacht of one of the greatest basketball players in the world?

When it comes to maintenance, Joy definitely doesn't come cheap. There's a crew of around 19 people onboard the ship 24/7 and costs $800,000 a week to maintain as per Marca . Let's face it: The average joe, or even most above average joes for that matter, isn't going out and buying 200-foot super yachts. Only a select few of the most successful people in this world can afford such a luxury. Take the greatest player in NBA History, Michael Jordan , for example.

There's pretty much no denying it: Michael Jordan is the GOAT. Not only was he an NBA legend who won six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls, but the five-time MVP also turned his Jordan brand into a super-successful business, making billions of dollars for Nike and opening the door for other athletes to do the same, like LeBron James. As of today, the billionaire owner of the Charlotte Hornets' net worth puts him on the Forbes list year after year.

Now, Jordan is no stranger to boating. A while back, he bought a massive sport fishing Viking Yacht named Catch 23 . It rocked the Air Jordan 3 sneaker elephant print color scheme, and he commonly used it to compete in fishing tournaments. However, one of his more recent purchase puts his old fishing boat to shame. I mean, it is an $80 million luxury yacht after all.

With eight different full-sized cabins onboard, the yacht can house family, friends, or anyone else worthy of staying in the Master Suite with no problem at all. Inside, you'll also find a full bar with a beautiful dining room area and a 270-degree ocean view. Of course, Jordan has also hired some of the world's finest chefs and bartenders as crew members, to serve himself and the guests while out on the water.

Along with an amazing view, the rear deck is fitted with a jacuzzi and a surrounding lounge area for hanging out or tanning. Jordan isn't the kind of person that likes to just sit around though, so it makes sense that there's also a full gym at his disposal to get the blood pumping. Those five-star meals need to get burned off somehow. Additionally, it wouldn't truly be a yacht owned by basketball player Michael Jordan without a full-sized basketball court. He may not play professionally anymore, but that doesn't mean he can't teach his guests a few lessons on the court from time to time.

When it comes down to it, Jordan is a businessman. Because of that, there's also a room that's mainly dedicated to meetings with important clients. The room is fitted with top of the line audio/visual equipment, and a satellite to give a presentation that is nearly impossible to decline. What better way to pitch your ideas than from this luxurious meeting room?

To put things in perspective, this yacht costs around $840,000 each week in order to man the ship and to keep the vessel in seaworthy condition. Michael Jordan is back in the news, but this time it’s not for his basketball feats or the Charlotte Hornets ‘ stats… Mr. Jordan just purchased a gigantic superyacht at an estimated price of $80 million. The yacht is equipped with incredible characteristics and has already been taken on a cruise to the Caribbean island of St. Barthelemy. We’re sure Mr. Jordan and his guests are taking advantage of all of this superyacht’s great features, as it’s difficult to get bored on a boat with so much to do!

Sailing off the European islands hosting his friends family, battling it out at the fishing tournament in North Carolina, and a momentary landing in Monaco. Michael Jordan had his summer of 2024 sorted out for him. But seems like a little trip around with his wife Yvette Prieto, enjoying the luxuries, hasn’t come to a hold just yet.

The Chicago Bulls legend was recently spotted in Monaco with his wife. In the pictures now viral on social media, he was present at the Stade Louis-II to watch Monaco beat Barcelona  in the  Champions League . He made the news for having the fans concerned over looking ill. The last time he was in the country was early in August. He had captured quite a few eyes then too. But only for his mode of arrival.

Back in early August, Jordan was seen getting off a 74.5 m Super Yacht costing $115,000,000 . Jordan reportedly purchased it in 2024 from a British billionaire and founder of the Travelex Group, Llyod Dorfman. However, the latter had initially set the price of the yacht at $137,000,000, and Jordan seemed to have clinched a pretty good deal. But who made the yacht?

It was built by a yacht builder named Abeking & Rasmussen in Germany in 2018. The yacht was solely made for the British billionaire and initially had the name “ Elandess “. The superyacht has a beam of 12.8 m and a volume of 2065 GT. It can go at a pretty amazing speed of about 16kn as it is powered by two Caterpillar Inc engines. Most interestingly, the interior was solely designed according to the needs of Dorfman by the designer Harrison Eidsgaard. The superyacht is believed to accommodate 12 guests along with a crew of 24 people. But the features of the superyacht don’t end here.

It has one of the most unique features that most of the yachts in today’s world don’t have: a Neptune Lounge, which is similar to the Nemo Lounge in the boat “ Savannah “. The concept of this Neptune Lounge is that it features an underwater observation room. Such types of features led the Elandess to win four awards at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards in 2018.

When His Airness had got his hands on the superyacht, the name was changed to “ M’BRACE. ” However, this isn’t only insanely expensive that the Chciago Bulls legend owns. The former NBA legend also has a fully custom $61.5 million Gulfstream G550 Private Jet, his Chicago Mansion, which is priced at $14.9 million, his 226-acre golf course by the name Grove XXIII, and even a huge collection of supercars.

While some may criticize his luxurious lifestyle, it is clear that he has reached a level of success that only a few can match.

Yet another inclusion in Jordan’s yatch collection would be “ The Joy “. This vessel is more known to the public world than its larger counterpart. However, there’s a small twist to it.

The original owner of “ The Joy ” is an Indian Businessman by the name of Sameer Gehlaut but most of the time the boat is chartered by Jordan for his private parties or vacations. Compared to “ M’BRACE ” this yacht is a little bit smaller in size, 70 m in length. But that doesn’t mean it has less facilities. Winter gardens and a beach club that transforms into a disco, a big pool, and BBQ area, a cutting-edge gym, and a spa center are among the amenities available on the boat, each of which can accommodate up to 12 people.

The name “The Joy” itself suggests that this yacht is a source of pleasure and relaxation for Jordan. Growth indeed for someone scared of the waters.

*While on vacation in Europe, Michael Jordan was in time to watch the UEFA Champions League match Thursday between AS Monaco and FC Barcelona at the Louis II Stadium in Monaco. He was in the company of his wife, Yvette Prieto. But it was Jordan’s eyes, not the match or the summer tour, that seemed to stir up more reactions on the internet, per the New York Post.

For some fans, the 61-year-old Basketball Hall of Famer was probably “high” on something.

“Is dude high or is his liver shot?” a fan rhetorically asked under the comments section of a collection of images from the game posted by Bleacher Report.

“Can someone please check that man’s liver,” another fan chipped in.

Even X, formerly Twitter, was lit.

“Why the hell MJ out here with JAUNDICE tho? Eyes lookin’ like a Vampire In Brooklyn,” one fan commented.

Instead of just asking rhetorical questions, some fans decided to offer solutions.

“Mike, get some water,” a fan advised.

“Bro need some eye drops,” wrote another.

But on a serious note, Jordan seems to have issues with his eyes, though he has yet to address this issue publicly. His eyes looked tinted even before his Bulls docuseries, “The Last Dance,” streamed into sports fans’ living rooms in 2020. Fans commented on the condition of his eyes back then.

Some fans have suggested it could be alcohol-induced jaundice or something more serious, such as cirrhosis or cancer. So Jordan might not be high on anything, just low on something.

The summer tour has so far taken the basketball legend to places such as Saint Tropez, Barcelona, and Ibiza. He is cruising in his mega yacht, the “M’BRACE.”

A doctor has explained the reason behind Michael Jordan's 'yellow eyes' following concerns from fans after his appearance at Monaco vs Barcelona.

Jordan was a surprise guest for the Champions League opener in the principality as Barcelona lost 2-1 in one of the only real shocks in the first round of fixtures.

The now 61-year-old won the NBA title on six occasions, was crowned the MVP in the NBA Finals another six times, and was named the NBA's Most Valuable Player five times throughout his career.

The former Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards star became such a big name he transcended the boundaries of sport and became the face of one of the most popular Nike shoes of all time.

During his appearance at the football fans became concerned after noticing a yellow pigment in the NBA star's eyes.

This issue was also brought up by fans during Jordan's Netflix documentary 'The Last Dance' but luckily a Physician on Reddit has set the record straight.

They wrote: "His eyes are "anicteric" (meaning, not jaundiced). His eyes are what we call as having a "dirty" or "muddy" sclera. It may appear yellow to the untrained eye, but in an outright jaundiced eye, the distribution of the yellowish color is very homogenous.

"In Michael's eyes in the Last Dance, not only did I not see much yellow, but there were significant "splotches" and areas that remained white. So there - no big deal. A "muddy" sclera is a normal variation that's commonly associated with aging."

Doctor Robin Pene also confirmed there was nothing to worry about in his online blog.

"As long as he gets them checked from time to time, the NBA great’s eyes are safe and sound," he confirmed.

"Pigmented lesions are areas of abnormal coloration that are familiar to anyone with moles or age spots, and a few different types can occur in the conjunctiva."

La icona del bàsquet mundial va assistir al primer partit europeu de la temporada del barça.

Michael Jordan va ser en unes de les llotges de l'estadi Lluís II per veure el partit de Champions entre el Mònaco i el Barça. I això va ser un fet molt important per a un membre de l'expedició del Barça que va anar al partit, Enric Masip. L'actual assessor del president Joan Laporta sempre diu que té només dos ídols a la vida, un és el seu pare i l'altre Michael Jordan.

En el capítol d'aquesta setmana del videopòdcast "Barça reservat" s'expliquen amb detalls els motius d'aquesta connexió, i també s'explica què li va passar a Vitor Roque en un entrenament amb el Barça, amb llàgrimes incloses.

Després del partit Joan Laporta va anar a veure Jordan a la seva llotja privada i allà va presentar-li els seus acompanyants, Deco, Bojan i Manana Giorgadze, i va fer una presentació especial d'Enric Masip. L'excapità del dream team d'handbol li va dir a Jordan que el seu fill petit es deia Jordan per ell i que als Jocs Olímpics de Barcelona es va quedar amb les ganes de coneixe'l. Al 92, Masip esperava coincidir amb l'estrella del bàsquet, però a la cerimònia inaugural, Michael Jordan no hi va anar i el dream team de l'NBA tampoc va dormir amb la resta dels esportistes a la vila olímpica.

D'aquesta manera, a Mònaco, 32 anys més tard Enric Masip va complir un dels somnis de la seva vida, parlar amb Michael Jordan i tenir una foto amb ell.
