A 62' yacht with a brazen Pershing instinct, the 6X can slice through the sea at up to 48 knots. All that power comes from the twin MAN V12 1550mhp engines, tamed by an array of state-of-the-art steering and control technologies.
The spatial ergonomics is maximal thanks to volumes that blend technology and performance in perfect proportions. The Mylius M60 CK, the racing evolution of the new Mylius M60 FD , is an offshore-racer & performance cruiser . A yacht designed to take part as a protagonist in the most important offshore regattas, but also equipped with spaces and comforts such as to be an excellent yacht for summer cruises in the Mediterranean .
The concept of the project, at the express request of its first owner, has been developed by providing a canting-keel system of latest generation resulting in a substantial increase in righting moment with a not excessive draft (3.500 mm), considering the size of the boat.
With the full carbon construction (the bottom structures are made using carbon fiber pre-pregs ) and the ballast weight reduction made possible by the canting-keel system , the displacement has been kept below 15 tons in lightship conditions. The hull volumes have been totally redesigned for the higher speeds and the lower heeling angles foreseen in the project: the new hull is therefore characterized by higher LOA / LWL and Bmax / Bwl ratios, larger bow volumes, more flared central sections to increase the stability of form, extremely flat stern lines and finally by a reduction of the immersion of the canoe body and a less accentuated rocker.
Thanks to the increase in stability provided by the canting-keel system , the 60 CK offers a very generous sail plan and the values of the sail area, upwind and downwind, are very close to those of a pure racer.
The deck plan , while keeping the distinctive Mylius style, has been redesigned for a more sporty use: the steering positions have been moved to a more forward position, the mainsail track is at their stern, the halyards winches are positioned on the sides of the companionway while the primary winches, the main sheet winches (German system) and the backstay winches are all in line at the sides of the cockpit.
When racing the winches are powered by a hydraulic system with a PTO pump on the main engine, however the lithium-ion batteries installed on board have the capacity to provide the necessary power to run the winches when the boat is in cruise version.
The interiors have been designed in a light and sporty concept, with extensive use of carbon on sight , while retaining the necessary comfort for sport cruising. The careful study of the levels and internal arrangements has made it possible to contain all the components of the canting-keel system entirely under the floor and the canard foil box is positioned in a way to not interfere with the living spaces.
The layout offers a large owner’s cabin with a dedicated bathroom in the front, two aft guest cabins with a bathroom , the crew cabin at the far bow. The galley and the chart table are respectively on the port and on the starboard side of the access ladder aft of the large main saloon . There are also lockers for personal effects in each cabin and ample space for the stowage of clothing and navigation equipment.
The Mylius M60 CK is also offered in a version with a fixed keel, with draft at 3,800 mm and relative increase in displacement in relation to the required set-up.

2020 ist die neue Solaris 60 auf den Markt kommen. Dieses Modell ist für die nächsten 10 Jahre wegweisend in Bezug auf Konstruktion, Konzeption und dem nautische Design. Die Solaris 60 ist inspiriert von der Idee eine Mini-Maxi- Hochleistungssegelyacht, mit einer Gesamtlänge von 18,31m zu schaffen. Diese Abmessung ermöglicht die Teilnahme an Offshore-Rennen in der die Mini-Maxi-Klasse einschließlich der Hauptveranstaltung in Porto Cervo. Die wichtigste Innovation der Solaris 60 ist nebst den neusten Wasserlinien, das Cockpit mit seinen maximal nach außen positionierten Steuerständen. Die Sicht ist nicht von der Sprayhood behindert und der Steuermann hat volle Kontrolle über die Vorsegel. Die Positionierung der Steuerräder ermöglicht es, die Reling achterlich zu senken und die in die Nähe der beiden Stufen zum Seitendeck anzuheben. Diese Lösung wird normalerweise erst bei sehr viel größeren Yachten ab 140 Fuß angewendet. Darüber hinaus hat der Steuermann Dank der Außenpositionierung der Steuerräder auch während des Anlegens und der Navigation eine totale Übersicht über die ganze Yacht. Hinter den Steuerädern sind mehrere Lösungen für das Sitzen möglich und diese erlauben auch sitzend und trocken zu steuern, da das Meerwasser bei starken Wellengang vom Seitendeck vor den Steuerständen über die Treppenstufen ablaufen kann. Unter Deck finden Sie ein typisches Solaris-Layout mit einer Küche die leicht durch zwei Stufen erreichbar und im zentralen Teil der Yacht angesiedelt ist. Die zwei großzügige, von Licht durchfluteten Achterkabinen mit Einzel- oder Doppelbetten sind mit grossen nach innen zu öffnenden Schiebeluken und im Rumpf eingefassten Fenstern ausgestattet. Die Eigner Kabine vorne ist sehr voluminös und bietet sehr viel Platz. Man kann zwischen dem zentralen Bett oder dem Bett an der Bordwand wählen. Die Crewkabine im Bug kann mit separatem Bad ausgestattet werden sofern sie nicht als grosser Stauraum genutzt wird. Die Dinghy-Garage in Längsrichtung, nimmt den grossen achterlichen Kabinen fast keinen Raum weg.

Mercury 60hp blowing fuse

I have a 2006 60hp, the motor ran, and started good all weekend then today it beeped like normal then nothing. changed batteries, nothing. so today looked at it and the 25 amp fuse was blown and it looks like it goes into the voltage regulator or some sort of sealed part. put in a new fuse and it sparked and blew immediately. So.. any thoughts on this issue? the part number that the fuse goes into is (on the side of the part) 893640-001 1415. Any help would be greatly appreciated or if more info is need please let me know.
Re: Mercury 60hp blowing fuse Put a multimeter line in where the fuse connections go, check each point by running it to ground. Check for resistance readings Maybe one of the wires has lost its insulation and it grounding out somewhere. Mice etc can chew on them and heat can do it too
