Designed by Luca Brenta & Co, she features state-of-the-art styling, design, construction, sail-handling and accommodation. The outer skin is 100% Kevlar while the inner skin is all carbon separated by a structural foam core. The deck and rig are also 100% carbon. In 1998 she was formally launched with celebration in Falmouth and following sea trials and final completion was thereafter delivered to the owner who commissioned her. Pendennis completed their new build sailing yacht in the United Kingdom. A moderate proportion is manifested with a maximum beam (width) of 7.92 metres or 26 feet. With a 3.78m (12.4ft) draught (maximum depth) she is deep. The material composite was used in the building of the hull of the sailing yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is built from composite.

Designed to offer racing yacht performance, with all the comfort of the most luxurious super yachts, WALLY B boasts uncluttered deck spaces, expansive outside seating and sunbathing areas, and the most beautiful 3-cabin for 6 guests, plus crew interior of warm cherry with contrasting exposed lacquered carbon, polished stainless steel and the finest quality leather and cloth upholsteries. Meticulously maintained since her launch, WALLY B has benefited from a number of major refits, the most recent being in 2020/2021 under her present ownership, including a full paint job and overhaul of all of her Hydraulics, Electronics and Machinery. New set of sales purchased by North Sails 2022. WALLY B’ participated in the Posidonia Cup Regatta 2022 and was the first boat to cross the finish line. She was awarded the "Line of Honor" Cup.
