Seller's Description
Renascence is a 1973 O’Day 27 sailboat. Purchased in Gloucester in 2015. Liveaboard in Boston for 6 years. Used and cared for daily. Sailed throughout New England and down the coast to Maryland in summer 2019. Returned north to Newport in April 2020.
Enjoyed another few summers at Constitution Marina in downtown Boston where she is currently berthed. Cheaper than an apartment in Boston!!!
She is a liveaboard ready boat with all of the comforts of a studio apartment on the water.
- 2004 9.9HP Tohatsu 4 stroke outboard.
- New owner may inherit Summer 2025 dockage (pending marina approval) in downtown Boston.

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be.
