The 43.5m/142'9" 'Brazil' motor yacht built by the Dutch shipyard Heesen is available for charter for up to 10 guests in 5 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Art Line.

Built in 1993, Brazil offers beautifully proportioned decks for exquisite indoor/outdoor living during a luxury yacht charter .

Guest Accommodation

Brazil offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising a master suite, two double cabins and two twin cabins. There are 7 beds in total, including 1 king, 2 queen and 4 singles. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Brazil benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter, notably Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stay connected at all times, should you wish. Guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 19 knots with a range of up to 3,000 nautical miles from her 61,500 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed. Her low draft of 2.2m/7'3" makes her primed for accessing shallow areas and cruising close to the shorelines.

Onboard Brazil has a range of toys and accessories to keep you and your guests entertained on the water throughout your stay. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Another excellent feature are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Also there are wakeboards so guests can show off at speed. If that isn't enough Brazil also features kayaks, fishing equipment and snorkelling equipment. Brazil also sports a 9.5m/31'2" Scanner Tender to transport you with ease.

MY Brazil has had major upgrades regarding her entertainment and communications system onboard. Flat screens in all cabins, main salon and Skybar including Apple powered TV boxes (Netflix etc.). Also an extensive offline music/movies and series library on demand. Throughout the vessel sound equipment has been upgraded to the latest SONOS players which are accessible through smartphones or tablets to play your own playlists.

One of the best-kept yacht charter secrets in the Atlantic, Brazil is slowly gaining popularity as a luxury yacht destination, and it’s easy to see why. Along this gorgeous stretch of Atlantic Coastline, you’ll find thousands of beaches, bays, natural harbors, and islands, most of which are uninhabited. Sunshine is plentiful, the emerald waters are calm and crystalline, the ever-present breeze is warm and gentle, and the culture is unique and welcoming, enticing travelers from around the world to this cultural melting pot. From the original natives and 16 th  Century Portuguese explorers, to more recent immigrants from Japan, Italy, France, Germany, and Lebanon, Brazil is a fusion of ethnicities, offering a dynamic variety of cultural, historical, and dining experiences.

Angra dos Reis, or Bay of Kings, in the state of Rio de Janeiro is the perfect place to begin your voyage. Sheltered by the large island of Ilha Grande, the gorgeous bay is home to more than 300 islands, and the short distances between them offer infinite spots to stop off and enjoy snorkeling, diving, or swimming. Venture ashore to enjoy a private picnic or beach barbecue prepared by your chef, or explore rainforest trails leading to cascading waterfalls and immerse yourself in the splendor within. Brazil is so much more than Rio and Ipanema, and your luxury yacht is waiting to take you there.

Arrive in Angra dos Reis via charter flight or helicopter from Rio de Janeiro, and head to Marina Verolme to meet your yacht and crew. Enjoy a celebratory cocktail on board as your captain makes way to the village of Abraão on Ilha Grande, where you can sample the local “feijoada” (bean and meat stew). With more than 100 stunning beaches, countless scenic hiking trails, and lush mountainous landscapes, it’s the perfect spot to venture ashore and explore.

Cruising along coast from Angra to Paraty, you’ll have your choice of anchorages, each one more beautiful than the next. Explore the landlocked cove of Saco do Céu, find a spot to anchor, and then head ashore for a forested hike and a swim under a waterfall. Continue to the enchanting city of Paraty, where you’ll find art galleries, famous restaurants, jazz clubs, and several bars with lively samba dancing.

Ilha da Cotia

Take a quick jaunt to Praia Grande for sunbathing on its stunning sandy beach, kayaking in the gorgeous waters, or simply strolling along the coast. Set out for Saco do Mamanguá, home to Brazil’s only fjord, with majestic towering rock walls jutting into the lush rainforest, and then continue to Ilha da Cotia to find a secluded anchorage and take in the panorama around you.

Ilha de Paquetá

Brightly adorned horse-drawn carriages are the only “vehicles” you’ll see, as no cars are permitted in this quaint, leisurely village. For a chance of pace, dine at Chez Dominique, serving up the best French food in the region.

As you make way back toward Ilha Grande, stop off at one of the many islands in the Baía da Ribeira, an idyllic spot to swim or splash around with the yacht’s water toys. Anchor out near Araçatiba, known for its abundant fishing and reflective aquamarine waters that may turn phosphorescent at night.

If weather conditions are favorable, take a counterclockwise turn towards Aventureiro, a rugged bay surrounded by tumbled boulders forming serene pools. Continue to Parnaioca, a nature-lover’s paradise, where a flowing river finds its way down to the unspoiled beach. Cruise around to the tip of Ilha Grande to Palmas and find a serene anchorage, enjoy a cocktail on deck, and take in the beautiful views.

Angra dos Reis

After navigating through this beautiful oasis of more than 300 islands, return to Angra for your ride to São Paulo for some last-minute shopping and dining. Or head to Rio de Janeiro to take in landmarks, such as the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. However you choose to end your journey, it will surely be the perfect finale.

Luxury charter yacht BRAZIL (ex Simone) was launched in 1993 by the Heesen shipyard of the Netherlands, she measures 40,23m (132ft) and underwent a refit in 2016. Accommodation aboard the yacht is in 5 staterooms, for up to 10 guests, including 1 master cabin, 2 double and 2 twin cabins.

The yachts interior décor is refined and elegant, spanning over 3 decks. The main salon offers sumptuous seating, with a plush sofa, occasional chairs, custom glass coffee table, games table, wet bar and full entertainment systems. Forward of the salon is a separate formal dining room, seating guests in style at a traditional round table. Further forward is the master stateroom. Upon entering the master cabin is a private study, featuring a large desk and ample workspace. The master cabin itself boasts a full beam layout, king size bed, sofa, vanity and his and hers ensuites.

An upper deck sky lounge has a comfortable lounge, offering a U shaped sofa, coffee table, wet bar and day head. Her main deck and upper interior decks are complimented in beautiful woods, sophisticated furnishings and plenty of natural light, from panoramic windows. Additional accommodation is on the lower deck, in 2 double and 2 twin cabins.

BRAZIL Specifications

The exterior living is capacious over 3 well-appointed teak decks. The main deck is ideal for formal or casual alfresco dining, offering a large high gloss wooden table, flanked by ample seating. This space is shaded and has direct access to the salon and also the extended swim platform on the stern. Her upper deck is partially shaded by the sundeck and provides social exterior lounge seating and tables. BRAZIL’S sundeck is impressive, welcoming guests to relax on sunbeds, soak in the deluxe Jacuzzi, dine alfresco under the stars, or sip cool cocktails from the wet bar. The sundeck includes a service station complete with a BBQ, making it a popular entertainment area.

Powered by 2 MTU 200hp engines, she cruises at 17 knots and has top speeds of 19 knots. The Heesen superyacht is fitted with stabilizers underway ensuring optimum comfort. Her naval architecture is by Gerhard Gilgenast, she has exterior design by The A group and interior styling by Art-Line – Claudette Bonville and Associates.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

Accommodation is for up to 10 charter guests, in 5 contemporary cabins. The master stateroom is on the main deck, forward of the salon, with a king size bed, sofa, vanity, his and hers ensuite, plus private study. On the lower deck are 2 double cabins, each offering queen size beds and vanity. A further 2 cabins offer twin beds and vanity. All cabins are ensuite. Each lower deck guest cabin has TV entertainment.

Hello Amanda! Back home and already in the office… Amazing crew and boat! We all had a great time! Olav sure is a very capable captain, manager and team builder. He has everything under control without much stress. Giordana is a great chief hostess, excellent singer and bar-woman!!! We had lots of fun with her shows and great hangovers with her Negronis and Dirty Dry Martinis. Bernadette is the perfect stewardess… very discreet and lovely at the same time, and always there for us... Rich is the best chef we had so far. He really spoilt the kids... I’ll need two months to recover from his homemade breads… Sean and Mathew are great guys, they were always there for us in the back of the boat… The boat was very well maintained… should also thank Jorge and Tricia.
