About your Sailing Adventure

Thank you for reaching out to Adventure Charters about scheduling a sail. This is Captain Jay and before we talk about a specific time and date let me tell you what it is that my first mate and I do.

We offer sailing trips aboard a beautiful Hinckley Bermuda 40 sailboat. The duration of the sail can vary but most guests select a three-hour experience which costs $300 (for the boat, not per person). I provide ice, water, sodas, and set-ups. You are free to bring snacks and beverages your group particularly enjoys. Most guests also leave a tip at their discretion for the first mate.

The boat is located and our sails begin and end at slip E-9 in the harbor just east of the Hard Rock and Beau Rivage Casinos. You can enter 679 Beach Blvd. Biloxi on GPS and literally park 10 feet from the boat. If you still have any difficulty finding us feel free to call me at (228) 380-0471 .

Take a step back in time, sail aboard a 65′ two-masted gaff-rigged Biloxi Oyster Schooner. The “Glenn L. Swetman” and the “Mike Sekul” are available for day sailing or charter, weddings, dockside parties, reception, birthdays and offer two hour special educational trips for school groups. Located at the Biloxi Schooner Pier Complex, one mile east of the Beau Rivage, we offer 2.5 hr., half day or full day charters. A 2.5 hr. walk-on sail is available for individuals periodically each month. Schedule is posted on our website. Welcome to bring food and refreshments aboard.

6Hr Island Hopper Adventure ($675)

On this adventure, we will spend the day on Horn Island or Cat Island. We will even hop to both islands if you like, spending about 2 hours on each island. Allowing more than enough time for island exploration, shelling, swimming or relaxing on the sugar sand beaches.

4Hr Cat Island Adventure ($500)

On this adventure we will spend half the day on beautiful Goose Point at the southeastern tip of Cat Island. You will enjoy exploring, shelling, swimming, and relaxing on the sugar sand beaches of this secret hidden gem.

2.5Hr. Around Cat Island Dolphin Searching Adventure Cruise ($325)

On this adventure cruise we will take you out and around beautiful Cat Island. On the voyage you will enjoy searching for dolphins and other coastal wildlife. We will explore some of the bayous and Smuggler's Cove. We will share our knowledge of Cat Islands vast, mysterious and also infamous history!

2Hr Coastal Sunset Cruise ($325)

We will set out along the coastline searching for dolphins and other coastal wildlife while waiting for one of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet! We believe Coastal Mississippi's Secret Coast is a thing of beauty, and once you've seen it from the water at sunset, you will agree!

Custom Tailored Adventures ($150/hour)

We will custom tailor a trip to fit your sense of adventure. Call us to discuss the options. $150 an hour, 2 hour minimum.

History Repeats Itself on the Famous Biloxi Schooners

For a truly unique way of enjoying the Mississippi Gulf Coast. step on board an authentic replica of a Biloxi oyster schooner. These “White Winged Queens” once sailed the Coast from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s; however the introduction of marine engines and the changes in oyster harvesting laws caused these beautiful crafts to disappear. The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum has recaptured a piece of history in their two famous schooner, the “Glenn L. Swetman” and the “Mike Sekul”. Available for day sailing or charter, the vessels can accommodate weddings, dockside parties, receptions, birthdays, or other special events. Special 2 hour educational trips are offered to school groups at special rates. The city of Biloxi traces its beginnings to the arrival of the French in 1699. The City takes great pride in letting visitors feast on its 300 year history. Truly a museum without walls, every inch of Biloxi contains elements of its proud heritage and none greater than the majesty of the White Wings.
