LH2 is a 21.12m (69' 3") sailing yacht built by CNB Bordeaux in 1995 and refitted in 2016. She can accommodate up to seven guests over three cabins with interior design by Philippe Briand. There is a crew of two on board.

NOTABLE FEATURES OF LH2: ~Beautifully-appointed contemporary interiors ~Two comfortable shaded cockpits ~Shallow draft of 2.7m/8.10ft for close beach access ~Great variety of water toys ~Air conditioning ~Wi-Fi

Above deck the stern area is fitted with two helm stations, forward of which there are is a sofa on either side beneath a canvas shade. Sunpads are placed amidships between the aft cockpit and the forward canvas-covered cockpit, the latter placing padded bench seating in a U-shape around an alfresco dining table. Movable chairs can be placed on the foredeck for the group to take in the views.

The beautiful modern interiors were designed by Philippe Briand with the natural tones in stone grey and cream further enhanced by the natural wooden panelling and furnishings as well as the numerous windows around the ceiling in the salon.

LH2 Specifications

The lower deck layout hosts the guest and crew accommodation forward and aft, along with a galley and storage for water toys in the stern. Amidships there is an elevated salon, within which places a plush C-shaped sofa on both sides of the room, the port side surrounding a large dining table while the opposite side of the room has a coffee table for casual relaxation.

STEYR SE 156 E 26, 156 hp, 6 cylinder & KOHLER 230V 1500rpm 50Hz and a new 2016 20 kW / 27 HP engine with Fischer Panda generator produces a top speed of 11 knots, a cruising speed of 8.5 knots and a range of 1,000 nautical miles.

History of CNB Yachts

CNB is one of the oldest French shipyards, located on the French Riviera. It was started in 1885 as a family-run business by Paul Auguste Pailleron. In 1992, CNB celebrated its 100-year anniversary with the launch of its successful 77 series cruisers.

Its shipyards currently produce sailing yachts from 78 to 88 feet. Its signature designs, the CNB 66 and the CNB 77, feature naval architecture and exterior lines developed by Philippe Briand and an interior design by AYTECH Architects. CNB also specializes in custom-made vessels. Its world-renowned yachts have earned awards and accolades, having won five World Superyacht Awards to date.

Magnificent & easy sailing

The aft section is the crew’s domain with a professional standard galley and a chart table all integrated in the immediate vicinity of a double cabin. The saloon is an extension of the cockpit; the glass aft bulkhead and the panoramic roof reinforce the feeling of freedom, enhanced by a subtle balance between wood, lacquered surfaces and textiles.

Guests will enjoy two double cabins of equal size, while the owner’s suite is worthy of a 90 foot yacht, occupying the entir e area forward of the mast. Her purposeful lines combined with a wide and powerful hull thanks to its two chines inspired by the world of ocean racing promise great performance.

The CNB 78 combines the experience of CNB and the knowhow of Solaris to create a modern and seaworthy yacht made to explore and conquer all oceans.

I was particularly pleased that the Solaris group wanted to continue the specific style of the CNB’s that we designed and created for the 76: this is recognition of the remarkable success of this model.

The new range, and the 78 in particular, are in the same vein: both classic and innovative, resolutely contemporary, elegant, bright, comfortable and above a joy to live with. She benefits above all from the opportunities offered by her new hull, which has enabled us to achieve unequalled improvements in volume and perceived space, particularly in the forward part of the yacht.

Interior Configurations

The CNB 78 proposes 4 cabins : a master suite and 2 equivalent guest cabins with double beds, the portside one can be divided into 2 twin beds. Plus a crew cabin for a couple and an optional pullman bed for a third crew member. In the standard version, the master suite is equipped with a a rear-facing bed and an additional sofa; as option the configuration with a front-facing bed and a desk is available.
