Located in the heart of Charlottetown, Leonhard’s Cafe and Restaurant is one of the top rated places to eat in the capital city of PEI. This is a cafe – perfect for coffee, breakfast, brunch, and lunches (they are closed for dinners).

It is a popular spot and you can expect a long line-up in the mornings – people queuing up for breakfast. But the wait is all worth it! 

Their menu items are specially made from scratch every day with locally sourced items. 

I love hitting the cafe for their lattes (coffee is from Down East Coffee, New Brunswick), and the omelets. The bagels were delicious too.

The Gahan House

The Gahan House is located in downtown Charlottetown – they are a brewing company, a bar, and a restaurant. 

You can order any of the in-house beers such as ale, stout, and lager. Their food menu comprises salads, chicken, and seafood. You will also find a kid’s menu along with vegan and gluten free options. 

The Gahan House has a limited outdoor seating area, which is perfect when the weather is balmy and warm. Their indoor dining room is very cozy and spacious for you and your party to enjoy craft beer and comfort food.

Nimrods’ Floating Pizza Bar & Burger Hut

This floating food area is hard to miss when you are at the marina in Charlottetown. Nimrod’s has a bar, and restaurant offering wood-fired pizzas, lobster rolls, and burgers – all in a lively area looking out to the waters. 

Nimrod’s is open and operational during the summer months from June to September of each year. They also feature weekly entertainment in an upbeat, open-air setting.

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed my grab-and-go drinks like Italian sodas!

Water’s Edge Restor Bar Grill – Delta Hotels by Marriott

Step into the Water’s Edge , the signature restaurant and bar of Delta Hotels Prince Edward in Charlottetown, for breakfast and dinner. 

The staff at the restaurant and bar were very helpful. You are also offered free Starbucks as you wait for your table. I didn’t stay at the Delta Hotel but walked in for breakfast only. 

Their breakfast buffet and a La crate were delicious and very well prepared. 

You can also visit for dinner , and enjoy their stylish atmosphere while indulging in fresh East Coast-inspired seafood creations paired with a diverse selection of craft beer and cocktails.

This casual and stylish restaurant is located on Victoria Row, and they offer amazing seafood from shrimp cocktails, lobster rolls, oysters, fish tacos, and various mains!

Their outdoor seating is amazing to take in the vibe of the town. The servers were super sweet to me when I was dining alone – love this restaurant!

Sims Corner Steakhouse & Oyster Bar

Live Like an Influencer: Charlottetown’s Best Two-Day Trip

Ever wonder if two nights is enough time to experience the best of Charlottetown? Well, we’re happy to report that it is! From cruising around by bicycle to sipping cocktails on rooftops to zipping around on jet skis, New Brunswick’s Janik Robichaud recently took us along for the ride during her jam-packed July weekend. Keep scrolling for all the highlights from her vacation in our seaside city.

STAY: Check in to Fairholm Boutique Inns . This wonderful collection of inns really needs no introduction.
