Todd Defilipps Is finishing the deck of his 24 Ft Plug Well I'm sold, he tells me he can get air conditioning for $2,000. He said he will design a normal open cockpit later, has been doing a lot of testing of strength of different lay ups for saftey canopys, because of saftey rules that have to be met, very strict after recent accidents I'm thinking inclosed with air, but instead of that excape hatch A long hatch Pneumatic, stair this boat has a huge front deck

I ordered a 850lb CF version
Todd said just CF would cost $8,000. for this size boat, Epoxy resin, foam, infusion I believe $45,000 will be a great price for the bare hull which is says should be in the 850LBs range,

These boats will be legal for C 3 offshore class, but the motors are restricted to the 200 XS or the 225 Pro XS 3L both 2 stroke motors This class has no speed limit just motor restrictions.
Is the Bottom mold complete. Will Todd remove center pod?.
The bottom mold is complete, and that center area does not drop down much, He was talking about building inserts for the mold to remove it completely If needed, was talking about changes for compression. The boat is 8'6" and with that flat deck It looks wider.
Hey Todd is looking for someone trainable, so If anyone wants to work on race boats for a living For a Cool boss give him a ring, or refer someone who might be.
I might have some one for him if he will pay a decent wage!
