Great draft selection! Smoked wings are fantastic. Very unassuming from the outside, but good service, food and beverage.

Today after Saige's track meet in Ripley, we went to Fairplains Yacht Club for late lunch early dinner. Tony had pulled pork Sammie special with onion rings and I went with the Cod Fish sandwich & fries basket...very good choices!! Tony had a few bottles of PBR and I went with Unsweetened Tea With Lemon & Lime. Great meal!!

Tony and I enjoyed a lunch at Yacht Club this Saturday. Tony had a French Dip Sandwich with Homemade Chips and I went with Pulled Pork Sammie. Both were very good! Definitely would order again!

Tony and I went to the Fairplains Yacht club for lunch. We haven't been since 2017 so we thought we Would give them another whirl. When we got there the parking lot looked quite full but the inside didn't match the exterior. We were greeted and Is met quickly. And the hostess took us to a seat in the middle of the floor I mean it was like an empty warehouse with tables scattered here and there and up to the far right was a bar with chairs and bottles and glasses. Hanging on the wall behind it the whole place looks kind of discombobulated... Our way trust is very friendly but she didn't introduce herself so I Am yet to know her name. She took our drink quarter and tony was very happy to find out that they had Pabst blue ribbon Beer available in the can but that's the way likes it and I got me a Iced unsweetened tea With lemon And lime Tony and I and I looked over the menu and decided to share a couple of items. I decided on symbolus wings and buffalo sauce with blue cheese and ranch for dipping. And we went with a mushroom burger can't quite remember the name but all the burgers there had some kind of unique name to them. The burger for the month of may was the fiesta burger They have a pool table for your enjoyment and the bars rather long with the bar stools. There was quite a few employees and our food took a good amount of time which we like. We personally feel that when the food takes a while to cook it means it's more freshly prepared to us and not yesterday's leftovers. The food was pretty good I mean I would order it again and go there again. Really enjoyed the mushroom we ordered? The. Hamburger well done and that's exactly how we got it and it was really good. Not a huge fan of the homemade chips or the french fries they were well way way to crisp For my taste. The boneless wings was pretty good, wouldn't say That I would definitely need to have them again definitely they're craving them but but pretty adequate. I would definitely go back but I wouldn't have to hurry back. There are some restaurants when I leave I dread it. I really want to go back and try something else immediately unfortunately this was not one of those.

I am from Jackson County and the Ripley area and this was my first visit here. I was not as pleased with it as I was hoping but hey, it was my first visit and I will definitely go again. The space is large but not set up good!! There is so much room for more tables so the guest don't have to set and wait. It's a large open warehouse feel so the tables sitting in the middle of the open..so weird! We had to wait because they literally have like 12 tables and a few booths, if they would reconfigure the dining area they could definitely accommodate more guest and peeps wouldn't have to wait as long. We had a lengthy wait. Also the specials are listed on the first page, but there is a time restraint on them that is not listed. So, after looking at menu for 10 minutes and waiting on our busy waitress to take our order, we found out we couldn't get what we wanted. So, we had to look again. This time we ordered wings only to be told after about 10 minutes, we are sold out please choose something else!! This was frustrating to say the least. He ended up with a philly sandwich, which was average not amazing in any way and I went with a chicken sandwich which was not even worth remembering. The order came with home made chips that were overly baked or fried because they were hard! He had a couple Brewskies and I had a unsweetened tea. Definitely will go again before I pass true judgement on the place!

Amazing food. I travel all over West Virginia and I can honestly say this is my favorite restaurant anywhere in the state. The smoked wings are wonderful and the French Dip sandwich is by far my favorite sandwich. Highly recommend. Oh, and the service is great too!

The yacht club is always a favorite from our house! We love the environment and laid back vibe. Tonight we got to try out the new menu! 10/10 on the added items! Husband and son got their usuals, but I tried the new smoked Gouda flatbread and it was delicious! Flatbread with Grilled chicken, Gouda, crispy bacon and topped with a sriracha honey! Yum! Service was a little slower than normal for a Thursday and could've stood for some waters while we waited on our beers but nonetheless we will always go back! Love that place!

Once again, Fairplain yacht club has exceeded my expectations, on hospitality, service, cleanliness, and food selection, and most definitely Waitresses (servers). Roadhouse, he was so elated that he indeed stated: I don't care who you are where you're even from, you gotta know that, Fairplane yacht club is the finest restaurant in Jackson County, as well as many other surrounding counties. I don't know how they do it, but they just keep on getting better and better all the time. The service is always outstanding, and that's because Roadhouse always selects McKenzie for his waitress!! Yes, she is the cats meow, we just hope and pray she never leaves!! On this particular trip, Dining In , it was Friday night, and I got to experience the prime rib, which I got a report to you. It was the best, it can also be labeled as the cats meow. just for shits and giggles, in case you didn't know it, whenever you are the cats meow, it doesn't get any better than that, your are#1, locked in and locked down in that slot, and you may hold that position for as long as you want! In closing, if you're ever in the Ripley, area of Jackson County, please check out the yacht club, you will not be disappointed!! For, I know the plans that I have for you, declared our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, plans to prosper you, and plans to never harm you, and give you hope in a future!!!! I had smoke wings and they're spicy Asian sauce. Very tasty. Also tried their smash burger. Excellent. Service was fast and friendly The insides are in large, and they actually had boats inside, and it was a very clean and easy to get around in. I would definitely recommend eating there.

We went with a party of 6 on a Friday evening. Waited about 20-25 minutes for a table. The draft beer was warm due to a mechanical issue so switched to bottles. Everyone tried something different from the menu and we were all satisfied with our meals. Will definitely return and try more items on the menu!

Food was good, not too loud, even on a Saturday afternoon. We both had the fish and fries. Not too greasy.

Not your grandfather's yacht club. It is an expansive and spread out bar/restaurant/music venue more or less where you would not expect to find one, in the middle of a field. We had a few appetizers and each had a burger. The appetizers were great, especially the fried cauliflower with buffalo sauce. I tried the burger with the pulled pork on top, it was fantastic. They also have a full bar and good selection of beers. If you are in the greater Ripley area, it is better than any of the chain restaurants around.

Was in town for work and was recommended to try it. One of the best prime ribs I've ever had! Service was excellent. I'll definitely be back.
