Elliott 10.5 is a 34 ′ 5 ″ / 10.5 m monohull sailboat designed by Greg Elliott and built by Elliott Type Yachts/Eagle Yachts starting in 1981.

• SA : Sail area in square feet, derived by adding the mainsail area to 100% of the foretriangle area (the lateral area above the deck between the mast and the forestay).
• D : Displacement in pounds.

Ballast / Displacement Ratio

A measure of the stability of a boat's hull that suggests how well a monohull will stand up to its sails. The ballast displacement ratio indicates how much of the weight of a boat is placed for maximum stability against capsizing and is an indicator of stiffness and resistance to capsize.

Displacement / Length Ratio

A measure of the weight of the boat relative to it's length at the waterline. The higher a boat’s D/L ratio, the more easily it will carry a load and the more comfortable its motion will be. The lower a boat's ratio is, the less power it takes to drive the boat to its nominal hull speed or beyond. Read more.

Comfort Ratio

1990 Elliott 10.5mtr

A well-maintained example of this highly sought after design; the Elliott 10.5 is the perfect mix of a top performing Category 2 race boat and comfortable cruiser.

Greg Elliott’s comment on this design sums up the boat to perfection; ‘I design boats that go fast and are fun to sail’. The four metre beam gives plenty of thrills on a reach as well as loads of space downstairs; double V-berth, 2 x double quarter berths and 2 x single berths. Plenty of locker storage both downstairs and in the cockpit with 2 huge quarter lockers for sail storage.

Recent additions include: new standing rigging June 2014, , brand new Doyle Technora main and boom bag, as-new Doyle furling headsail with low profile Facnor flat deck furler, , Raymarine autopilot, double-sided Ronstan mainsheet system, and a new VHF radio. The boat has a full ORCi Certificate including polars.

She has been set up for short-handed sailing, and has been successfully campaigned with wins in 2014 club racing,  and the 2014 Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta.

She has also been used for numerous fun and comfortable weekends away around Port Phillip bay, often sleeping up to 8 on board. The owner has overseas travel plans and is keen to sell.

She was built in 1983 on an Airex cored hull from Buck Smith and finished at Elliott Boats in Venice, CA. DON JUAN is the last Elliott ever made and has been well-maintained at the capable hands of her original owner. In 1996, DON JUAN was hauled, and new engines and generators were installed. The yacht features Naiad stabilizers, a large runabout tender, a huge fish hold in the cockpit and a tower offering excellent visibility for spotting fish. 

The volume of DON JUAN's interior spaces is impressive and allows for various lounging, dining and guest accommodation areas. Her huge salon windows offer premium visibility of the cruising grounds and let in the perfect amount of natural light. DON JUAN is truly an amazing platform built on a Buck Smith hull and was completed by Elliott Boats in 1983 as the last Elliott to ever be built. She boasts a huge fishing cockpit complete with three bait tanks; full beam refrigerated fish hold and tackle center.

Entering the salon through a teak door, the enormous windows provide great visibility and natural light. To port is a large couch and dining table with seating for 10 adults. A small sofa and table are to starboard that transform to another bunk when needed. Moving forward is a sunk-in bar complete with an icemaker, refrigerator and soda gun. Across from the bar you will find the galley complete with large Sub-Zero refrigerator and beautifully appointed countertops with bar stools. The galley is equipped with a full array of appliances that would make any chef envious.

Walking up a teak stairwell gains access to the massive pilothouse. There is a beautifully crafted teak helm console housing all the engine gauges, controls and electronics. Moving aft there is a large settee with teak table and a huge double bunk behind the table. Side doors on either side of the pilothouse gain access to the bow. Moving up from the pilothouse is the flybridge complete with a helm, multiple sunbeds, access to the tower and the huge boat deck with a 16' Runabout tender. 

The main accommodation area is located forward of the galley with the large master to port. The master stateroom has a large walkaround, double bed and an ensuite head and shower. Across from the master stateroom is a guest stateroom that boasts a double bunk with a single bunk adjacent. An ensuite head and shower is attached with beautiful tile countertops. Moving forward to the port is another guest stateroom with another large double bed and a shared head and shower. To the starboard is the crew stateroom with upper and lower single bunks and access to the shared head and shower. Moving aft there is a large utility room with custom freezer, laundry equipment and electrical panels. Access to the engine room is through a watertight door in the aft of the utility room.

Southwest Airlines ( LUV )’ management is making a case to stay in charge during its investor day Thursday , and one facet of its plan has the company’s shares surging more than 10%. Under pressure from an activist investor, the carrier authorized $2.5 billion in stock buybacks.

Nell’ultimo video che Achille ha pubblicato su Tik Tok promette alla madre di farle un bel regalo, per il quale però dovrà aspettare almeno 10 anni. Partiamo dal fatto che lui non ha più un profilo Instagram, ma nonostante ciò è molto attivo su Tik Tok.

Per l’occasione ha pubblicato un post nel quale si trova proprio assieme alla madre. I due si stanno godendo il sole del pomeriggio e quando passano vicino a un grande yacht grigio il giovane 19enne dice alla madre di volerle comprare un yacht così, ma fra dieci anni . Martina annuisce alla battuta del figlio, ma un colpo di vento si fa più forte e copre il suono della voce portando chi ascolta il video a non capire la risposta di Martina.

Nello specifico hanno notato come Martina Colombari abbia un’espressione davvero stanca e hanno detto come senza parlare sua madre abbia detto tutto, oppure come non lo sopporti al figlio nemmeno lei e ancora c ome sia davvero impegnativo avere a che fare con un figlio che ha un caratterino del genere .

Pace fatta in casa Costacurta? Sembrerebbe di si, vista l’immagine dolce e materna che l’ex Miss Italia ed il giovane Achille che appare sui social. In occasione del c oncorso di Miss Italia , svoltosi a Porto San Giorgio (Fermo) nelle Marche, in cui la madre era presidente di giuria, l’immagine più bella della serata è stata sicuramente la foto in cui, al termine della cerimonia di premiazione, vede madre e figlio ritratti assieme.

Senza nulla togliere alla bellezza delle ragazze che sono sfilate sul palco nel corso della serata, uno degli eventi dalla storia più longeva per quanto riguarda gli spettacoli e giunto alla sua 85-esima edizione, la riappacificazione, almeno in pubblico, è quanto di più amorevole si possa volere. Speriamo duri per sempre!
