The 'Below Deck Mediterranean' Season 6 Trailer Is Here!
Captain Sandy Yawn and Bosun Malia White return to the high seas with an all-new crew for another sure-to-be dramatic charter season.
Below Deck Mediterranean is sailing back onto your TV screens. Bravo just dropped the first look at season 6 of the hit series, which features the return of Captain Sandy Yawn and Bosun Malia White (which might be a little awkward, seeing as Sandy "outed" Malia -- who is actually not queer -- near the end of season 5's run). The pair is joined by an all-new crew: Chief stewardess Katie Flood, chef Mathew Shea, stewardesses Lexi Wilson and Courtney Veale, as well as deckhands David Pascoe, Lloyd Spencer and Mzi "Zee" Dempers. There's also a new boat -- Lady Michelle , an 180-food mega yacht -- and a new location, Sibenik, the oldest native Croatian town on the shores of the Adriatic Sea.
Bravo promises a "shocking franchise first" before the opening charter, as a serious crisis unfolds and leaves the staff to worry if the season will be over before it even begins. Of course, the crew will encounter one demanding charter group after another, all while continuing to provide the seven-star service that is expected in the Med. Between charters, long workdays lead to late-night hijinks, surprising hookups and one heated, over-the-top argument in the hot tub that leaves the group at a crossroads.
Fans looking to hit the high seas early will get a chance this season, as Peacock -- the NBCUniversal streaming service -- will stream episodes a full week before they air on Bravo! That means the premiere hits Peacock on Monday, June 21.
Watch the trailer here:
Katie takes over the position of chief stew from Hannah Ferrier , the franchise OG who departed Below Deck Med midway through filming season 5 , after Malia turned her into Sandy for having undocumented prescription medication onboard. Katie has over six years of experience in yachting, and prides herself on her attention to detail. A firm believer in equal opportunities, she strives to keep her interior team on an equal footing which does not bode well with her stews. When she clashes with one of her crewmates, she is left to make tough decisions that could impact the entire boat.
Below Deck Mediterranean returns Monday, June 28, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo (or a week early on Peacock!). Catch up on the first four seasons, now streaming on Peacock. Season 5 comes to the platform on June 14.

Meet The Almost-All-New Cast Of Below Deck Mediterranean
Captain Sandy Yawn and bosun Malia White are the only holdovers from Season 5.
It’s out with the old and in with the (mostly) all new cast on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6. The only holdovers from last season are Captain Sandy Yawn and bosun Malia White. And they’re both going to have their hands full with seven new crew members when the show premieres on June 21 on Peacock (and a week later on Bravo).
One thing fans will immediately notice is that the new cast is more diverse than in previous seasons — an issue stemming from a lack of diversity in yachting in general. As Below Deck Season 7 cast member Simone Mashile pointed out to Showbiz Cheatsheet in 2020, she’s one of the very few Black crew members she’s come across in the industry. “It is truly mostly a homogenous industry,” she said. “And I feel that people who aren’t caucasian or have a certain look of like blond hair, blue eyes — which is incredibly favored, by the way — just don’t get equal opportunities.” She added of her time in the industry, “I would go through interviews with the captains and we get to a final stage. And it was me against like another girl and the captain would come back saying, sorry, the owner just prefers blonds. So that’s not gonna work.”
Two of the seven new Below Deck Med stars are Black, though the majority of crew members are still white. Here are all the new faces you’ll see joining Captain Sandy and Malia this season.
Matthew Shea
The new ship chef got started in the culinary world as a kid. According to his Bravo bio, his mom ran a macrobiotic cooking school that sparked his own passion for cuisine . He later trained as an assistant chef on a Greenpeace tour before joining the yachting world full-time. He’s cooked for A-listers like Hugh Jackman, so he’ll be well-prepared for any picky eaters aboard the Lady Michelle .
Katie Flood
Operating as Chief Stew, New Zealander Katie has been in the business for six years — and she’s got the amazing vacation Insta pics to prove it. The Bravo teaser for the show says that she finds herself in conflict with the crew early on, so you can look forward to seeing that drama play out.
Lexi Wilson
Lexi was born in the Bahamas, and she represented the country at Miss Universe in 2013 . But she moved to America for college and got her start in the yachting business when she met a yacht captain while in Florida. She’s been a stew ever since.
Courtney Veale
Another stew aboard the ship is Courtney from North Wales. Per her Bravo bio, she’s worked as everything from a bartender to a nanny to a Disneyland Paris performer (she went to a performing arts college, so it fits). Once she found sailing, though, it stuck.
David Pascoe
It feels like every season of Below Deck has some kind of love triangle, and David may be responsible for this year’s. The Bravo teaser hinted that “when more than one yachtie catches his eye, he juggles work and play, leading to heartbreak.”
Besides some messy romance, fans can expect the deckhand to bring a passion for yachting to the show. His Bravo bio says that he has a “good attitude” and “work ethic” and that he has a lot of experience in yachting following his time working as a surfer and beach lifeguard.
Mzi “Zee” Dempers
South Africa native Zee is another deckhand on Lady Michelle, and he comes from a family of yachters — two of his adopted brothers work in the industry , one as a captain and the other as a chief officer. Zee’s got a ways to go before he hits that level in his career, but he’s working on it.
Lloyd Spencer
Last but not least is deckhand Lloyd, who got his start in yachting after leading tour groups around Europe and sailing in Greece . At first, he was in the more commercial side of sailing, making winter deliveries in the Irish sea, but now he’s ready to have fun on the warm weather yacht charter.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Season Five Cast and Premiere Date Announced by Bravo
by Regina Avalos, September 18, 2024
(Photo: Bravo Media)
Below Deck Sailing Yacht has its return date set. Season five of the reality series will return next month, and Bravo has announced new crew members who will join Capt. Glenn Shephard, Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, and First Mate Gary King on board the Parsifal III this season.
Chef Cloyce Martin, Chief Engineer Davide Morosi, stews Diana Cruz and Danni Warren, and deckhands Keith Allen and Emma Crouch will join the cast for season five of the series, and they will bring some drama with them.
Bravo revealed the following about what is to come in season five:
Capt. Glenn and his expert crew set sail on Parsifal III to the luxury party capital of the world, Ibiza. While Ibiza is known for its sunny day parties and crystal-clear coast, it’s stormy waters ahead for the crew as they navigate blossoming boatmances, competitive co-workers and tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter. After a distracting love triangle last season that took her focus away from work, Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination. However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership. On deck, Gary attempts to keep his team motivated as one crew member struggles to learn the ropes. In the galley, Chef Cloyce charms the crew and guests but at only 22, he may be too inexperienced to meet the demands of the high-maintenance charter guests.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht returns on October 7th . The trailer for season five is below.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 7: "Smoke on the Water" "Another engine issue emerges, forcing Capt. Glenn to modify the plan and keep the returning guests entertained. With all the uncertainty going on in the engine room, Capt. Glenn takes control and points out the crews’ mistakes. Daisy and Colin make up after their fight as their relationship grows stronger. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 8: "Cheers to Boobies" "After Chase confides in Gary about Alex’s lackluster work ethic, Chase’s trust is broken when Gary tells Alex about their conversation. The crew pull off talent show #2 for the returning guests and surprise themselves with their interesting skills. Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 9: "Love Boat" "Glenn dresses up for the guests' theme night; he hopes his participation helps correct a jewelry theft hiccup and is on top of his crew to make sure the women have the best trip of their lives."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 10: "Loose Lips Sink Friendships" "The crew has the day off, and even Capt. Glenn recharges by enjoying Parsifal III all to himself and riding the eFoil; Colin saves the day clearing the clogged toilets, but he gets jammed up when his honest opinion strikes a chord."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 11: "Let Them Eat Cake" "Capt. Glenn notices the standards are slipping on Parsifal lll as the crew is exhausted with the mid-season blues. Distraught that Colin and Gary aren’t speaking, Daisy takes initiative and forces them to hash out their problems. Gary’s confusing behavior has Mads confessing her feelings to Alex. Colin tries to forgive Daisy’s discretions, but she adds insult to injury after she drunkenly confuses him for Gary. On charter, after anchoring in their first destination, Parsifal lll nearly drags into a neighboring boat."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 12: "T-Bone with Stakes" "Capt. Glenn notices the crew is slipping on service when a guest is injured, and interior doesn’t hear the walkie call forcing Capt. Glenn to up the guest maintenance standards onboard. After Alex and Mads confess their feelings from the start, Mads is torn between Alex and Gary. Shaken after a close T-Bone with a nearby boat, Gary is confused when his advances to Mads aren’t being reciprocated."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 13: "Hurricane Bonnie" "Captain Glenn reprimands the crew as recent slip-ups are directly affecting communication and morale; Daisy breaks down when she's proven wrong about the walkies not working; Chef Ileisha is determined to prove she can complete a 10-course dinner."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 14: "Boat Load of Throuples" "Capt. Glenn threatens to kick one of the 'throuple' charter guests off Parsifal during a drunken guest fight. Unhappy with Gary, Alex and Colin decide to follow their hearts instead."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 episode 15: "Man Buns Has it Been Fun": "Proud of his team’s accomplishments during the final sail, Capt. Glenn believes his tough love made them all stronger. The crew celebrates their final night out and Daisy and Colin try to soak up every moment of it. Following tearless goodbyes, Capt. Glenn and Gary stay onboard Parsifal to pick up another charter season."
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 cast
Captain Glenn Shepherd returns to helm the Parsifal III. This is his fourth season on the series, but he's no stranger to the ship. He's been helming the Parsifal III for over a decade.
Captain Glenn will be joined once again by Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, first mate Gary King and engineer Colin MacRae.
New to the series are chef Ileisha Dell, stews Lucy Edmunds and Mads Herrera and deckhands Chase Lemacks and Alex Propson.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 plot
Bravo offered this synopsis of Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 and it gives you a good sense of what's coming in the new season:
"Capt. Glenn and his comeback team Daisy Kelliher, Gary King and Colin MacRae resume their responsibilities aboard Parsifal III, along with new, dynamic crew members, as they set sail in Sardinia, Italy. Capt. Glenn realizes that his laid-back leadership style has allowed his crew to become too comfortable and starts taking charge of quality control in the interior department, much to Daisy's dismay.
"In the galley, Chef Ileisha’s cooking impresses the guests, but her indecisiveness and co-dependency lead to time-management issues between courses, which causes her to self-destruct. On deck, strong personalities collide, and a power struggle results in a near mutiny, as Gary clashes with his new overconfident deckhand, Chase.
"Two overlapping love triangles further complicate the dynamics on-board, and a shocking hookup puts Colin, Daisy and Gary’s friendship in jeopardy. With a near collision, fire, crew rebellion, gruesome guest injury and two different potentially season-ending engine failures, this is the most captivating and unpredictable season yet of Below Deck Sailing Yacht ."

Behind the scenes: Captain Sandy Yawn on the reality of filming Below Deck Mediterranean
Sandy Yawn, the coolheaded captain who has shot to fame on Below Deck has returned to the helm for season six, Below Deck Mediterranean. Speaking to BOAT International she opens up about her experiences of filming the hit US reality show shown on US network Bravo.
The opportunity for Sandy, 55, to first join the Below Deck series “landed on her lap” after an acquaintance recommended her to the showrunner five years ago.
Captain Sandy revealed that she was discouraged from joining the show but decided to pursue the opportunity anyway.
“Everyone was saying don’t do it, you’ll ruin your career and I was like ‘This just landed in my lap, I can’t say no to it!' I went to the interview and said if it happens, it happens, if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. I thought well I’m already a successful captain, I can always get another job.”
Luckily, captain Sandy breezed through the interviews and was asked to join the second season of Below Deck Mediterranean, replacing outgoing captain Mark Howard.
Despite initial warnings not to join, captain Sandy said she was never concerned about her own portrayal on the show.
“You can’t make someone look bad if they’re doing their job right, no matter how you edit it,” she said. “I’m a competent captain. I’m a woman so I’ve had to work five times harder than anyone else to get there. I'm there to do the job and the TV bit comes second," she said.
She admits that her first season on the show, which saw her take charge of the 47 metre Heesen superyacht Sirocco during a busy charter season in Croatia, was a “huge learning curve” in comparison to working on professional charters.
“When you’re from the charter world, you’re used to having the best charter crew on the planet,” she said. “And then you step on board Below Deck and the chief stew has no experience.”
Working with “green” crew is a key challenge in filming Below Deck , she said. “When someone doesn’t have passion for the job or is just there to be on TV and hope their career is going to take off, that is hard for me. I don’t have time for it, and you can always tell – the camera never lies.”
One area that poses no challenges for captain Sandy is the logistics of filming the show. “I love the production side of it,” she said. “It’s all about logistics, which is what you do as a captain.”
The intense filming schedule squeezes 16 charters into a filming period of eight weeks. This means that two groups of guests will charter the yacht in a single week, giving the crew less than 24 hours to prepare the boat for the next charter.
“Charter means working 24/7,” captain Sandy explained. “We end charter and do the tipping thing, which we’ve always done, and then we start turning the boat around. The next day, the crew are all doing interviews and then we pick up charter again.”
The sixth season of Below Deck Mediterranean features 55 metre Benetti superyacht Lady Michelle as the main charter yacht.
Alongside chartering the superyacht, the Below Deck production also charters a second boat during filming to be used by the film crew for lunch breaks, as well as a large tender to ferry around cast and production crew.
Meanwhile, more than 60 hotel rooms are booked out to support the production while an average day’s filming will see around 30 people on board the yacht.
Captain Sandy is keen to emphasise the positivity of the show, which she says is “doing a great thing for our industry.” “It shows that there are so many jobs in the industry and that there’s an industry out there thriving.”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans sound off on Gary King’s return
Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans have sounded off on Gary King’s return for Season 5.
The trailer for the new season revealed Captain Glenn Shephard, Daisy Kelliher, and Gary are back.
Last summer, Gary was accused of sexual misconduct by a production team member after he had already filmed Season 5.
Many believe the scandal was the reason for Below Deck Sailing Yacht being pushed back from spring to fall.
Now that Gary’s still on the show, fans have taken to the comments section of the official Below Deck Instagram page to speak their minds.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans sound off on Gary King’s return
There were so many remarks slamming the fact that Gary was still on the show after all the allegations against him.
“I guess Bravo isn’t worried about Gary’s alleged s3x assault claims by the one behind the scenes crew member ….,” read a remark.
Another also called out Bravo, writing, “How is Gary back?! Bravo, do better!”
A different one was shocked Gary returned, while a separate comment wished to see Daisy without Gary on the show.
Several more comments reiterated the unhappiness that Gary returns, with mentions of his bad behavior and assault allegations.
“I wish Colin was back notGary!!!” wrote a critic.
Others declared they wouldn’t be watching with Gary on-screen, and more were confused about how he could be back considering the scandal.
“So Daisy and Gary will get fired after 2 episodes and then it will be less of a s**t show season?” read a comment with another saying.
There was even a remark that insisted the user will watch other Below Deck shows and the next season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht as long as Gary isn’t on.
More Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans weigh in on Gary King appearing on Season 5
It wasn’t all bad or negative in the comments section of the IG post.
Some Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans are excited to have the hit show back after such a long hiatus. Plus, the trailer does look extremely entertaining, crazy, and drama-filled.
One fan can’t wait to see Daisy go off on Gary, which went down in the trailer.
The haters certainly came for Gary, but he did have those who stood up for him, even calling him a favorite.
Another stated that he makes the show and suggested that Gary may have been cleared of all charges.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported, Gary gave an update stating he was cleared and reiterating his innocence.
What do you think about Gary being back on screen?
Those looking to learn more about the rest of Captain Glenn’s crew can do so right here.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 premieres on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-4 are streaming on Peacock.
I think Gary and anyone else deserves a second chance. The Bible says forgive 7×70. Forgiveness is what it’s all about.
I do wish Colin was coming back, just not going to be the same.

Since 2013, Below Deck has been captivating TV audiences across the globe by offering a voyeuristic peek into life on board multi-million dollar luxury charter yachts . Taking readers behind the scenes, YachtCharterFleet identifies the yachts featured on the show, as well as those which have appeared on the celebrated spin-off series Below Deck: Mediterranean , Below Deck: Sailing , Below Deck: Down Under and the latest iteration, Below Deck: Adventure .
Bravo’s hit reality TV series Below Deck chronicles the lives of crew members who work and reside aboard a luxury yacht during the charter season.
Each season features a different crew configuration, and the episodes show how the crew members interact and deal with personal issues alongside their working lives. The seasons are filmed over six weeks, with every episode featuring a new group of charter guests.

Many crew members are recurring on the show; the longest-standing is Captain Lee Rosbach, who been on the show since 2013. A fan favourite, he has been at the helm of every yacht on Below Deck and seen a number of different crew formations.
The latest Below Deck season 10 is rumoured to be his final swan song, although his legacy on the show is such that whoever replaces him will have very big shoes to fill.
Among the crew members, Chief Stewardess Kate Chastain was an integral member of the team from season two to season seven. Alongside her, Chef Ben Robinson was a permanent fixture of the crew from season one to season four, before stepping out for season five.
Throughout the course of the show, the yachts have played an important role.
Hiring a Below Deck yacht will cost from €140,000 per week - and that price doesn't include expenses such as fuel. While some of the yachts were given an alias over the course of filming, their real names can now be revealed below; as well as the exact cost to rent them.

Delivered in 2008 by Italian shipyard Benetti, the yacht has an impressive sleek, supercar-inspired profile that instantly turns heads.
Onboard highlights include her well-appointed sundeck with sunloungers and sunpads where guests can kick back and relax, a spa pool and her al fresco cinema screen set up for unforgettable movie nights.
One of the yacht's most distinctive features is her sophisticated spiral staircase that leads through all three decks and is lit by a skylight in the spa pool of the sun deck. The yacht is very versatile for a variety of charter party configurations, with room for 12 guests across six elegantly appointed cabins.
STARSHIP (aka MY SEANNA)

The yacht has traveled far and wide for the show cruising to the jaw-droppingly beautiful St Kitts and Nevis in season 9, the sun-kissed Caribbean in season 8 and the South Pacific islands of Tahiti in season 6.
Known for being among one of the most opulent yachts on the charter market due to her ornate interiors and glossy fittings that have been brushed in 22-carat gold, it is safe to say that this yacht is one of the most opulently styled and extensively equipped yachts on the water. Refitted in 2021, the Delta Marine yacht can accommodate 12 guests across 6 cabins and is extremely versatile for a variety of yacht charter party configurations.
VALOR (aka BG)
Appearing three times on the hit show, the 47m (153ft) charter yacht BG (known on the show as VALOR) featured in seasons 7, 5 and 4 of Below Deck , taking charter guests to a variety of sun-kissed and beautiful locations. The yacht's real name is BG, and she was built in 1990 by the world's most revered shipbuilder Feadship . Since then, she has undergone many interiors refreshes to keep her in tip-top condition.
The yacht traveled around Thailand in Season 7 where the crew and viewers were treated to a truly memorable South East Asian experience. From the iconic Phi Phi Islands to the beautiful beaches of Ko Yao Yai, there were plenty of fascinating landmarks to see on the way. Season 5 took viewers to the tranquil cruising grounds of Saint Martin whilst season 4 saw M/Y BG in the glistening waters of the Virgin Islands .

She is equipped with an array of luxurious amenities including an eight-person sundeck Jacuzzi, barbecue and yacht-wide sound system. She also boasts timeless interior styling with intricate wood panelling and a neutral colour palette which helps create an inviting atmosphere for those on board.
The yacht was sold in November 2013 - just before filming for season 3 began - for an asking price of $17.9 million.
OHANA (aka STAR DIAMOND)
Premiering in August 2014, season 2 of Below Deck returned with 13 episodes documenting life on board the slightly smaller superyacht STAR DIAMOND in the British Virgin Islands . Among many other features, the yacht is equipped with a large sundeck, outdoor bar and luxury accommodation for 10 guests.
After filming the series, M/Y STAR DIAMOND was sold for an asking price of $10.9 million and is now on the charter market with a charter rate of $160,000/week. Extensively refit in 2022, the work on the superyacht has included a complete interior refresh, the yacht now features light, modern styling - an engine rebuild and a cabin conversion.
HONOR (aka BARENTS )
The first season of Below Deck premiered on 1 July 2013 after being announced in April 2012. Chartering around the Caribbean , the starring superyacht was named HONOR for the show but chartered under the name CUOR DI LEONE which translates to ‘Lion Heart’ in Italian. She now goes by the name BARENTS .
Built by Italian shipyard Benetti in 1999 and refit in 2021, the famous vessel has undergone a complete makeover, bringing her up to modern standards. She can accommodate up to 12 charter guests and features luxury amenities for guests to enjoy including state-of-the-art TVs and a sundeck Jacuzzi.
Following the show, superyacht BARENTS was sold for around $15 million and her new owner commissioned a major refit. A great deal of money was spent on updating her interior with a classic-modern style of design as well as on brand-new exterior furniture and entertainment systems.
Below Deck: Mediterranean
Following on from the success of Below Deck , the spin-off Below Deck: Mediterranean premiered in May 2016. While the original series takes place during the winter charter season when the Caribbean is at its peak, Below Deck: Mediterranean is filmed during the summer charter season.
Season one of Below Deck: Mediterranean saw Captain Mark Howard at the helm, but the baton was passed to Captain Sandy Yawn from two onwards. Chief Stewardess Hannah Ferrier was another permanent fixture on the show from season one to five, before leaving the show in season six.
As its name suggests, the show is based in the Mediterranean , the world’s most popular yachting hub from May to October. Despite the change in location, the same format and accompanying on-water antics from the crew and guests alike can be expected. Accommodating up to 12 guests across 6 beautifully decorated staterooms, this yacht is described as a home away from home, the perfect platform for guests to soak up the sunshine, kick back and relax. From her convivial sundeck setup replete with a Jacuzzi and glowing cocktail bar to her panoramic sky lounge and state-of-the-art water toys, this yacht certainly had the wow factor that was required for Below Deck: Mediterranean .
LADY MICHELLE (renamed NEXT CHAPTER)
Season 6 of Below Deck: Mediterranean premiered in June 2021 and saw a new vessel, motor yacht LADY MICHELLE , since re-named NEXT CHAPTER, take center stage. It also saw the return of Captain Sandy and Bosun Malia, plus a brand new crew.
A floating paradise that turns heads on the water, this heavenly Benetti vessel comfortably accommodates 12 guests across 6 sumptuous staterooms, with additional capacity for up to 12 crew members. She also boasts an open-air cinema, a split-level owner's suite and an impressive array of water toys.

THE WELLINGTON (aka THE WELLESLEY)
Season 5 of Below Deck: Mediterranean premiered in the summer of 2020. The show was shot on board the motor yacht THE WELLESLEY , and the superyacht was given the alias THE WELLINGTON over the course of filming.
The yacht has an elegant 1920's theme, with a chic club lounge complete with a bespoke humidor. She features plenty of marble accents and ample alfresco deck areas, as well as a jacuzzi with innovative spill pool features.
The yachties set course for Spain for this season, cruising around the azure waters of the Balearic Islands . The homeport was Port Adriano on the island of Mallorca .
Featuring in both Season 4 and Season 2 of Below Deck: Mediterranean , superyacht SIROCCO is a yacht charter sensation. An elegant and sophisticated Heesen -built motor yacht, she features plenty of alfresco sunning areas and an 8-person jacuzzi pool; the perfect spot for the charter guests to unwind after a long day exploring.
Season 4 took the crew to one of the most iconic destinations in the Mediterranean ; the South of France . Between the luxury yachting hub of Monaco to the beautiful beaches in St Tropez , this season promises lashings of glitz and glamour. During Season 2 of Below Deck: Mediterranean , M/Y SIROCCO cruised the picturesque waters of Croatia .
TALISMAN MAITON
Premiering in 2018, season 3 of Below Deck: Mediterranean saw familiar and new faces head to the sublime cruising grounds of Italy. This time, the crew treated their discerning guests to a world of luxury on board the 54m/178ft motor yacht TALISMAN MAITON .
Built in 2006 and refit to an exacting standard in 2016, the yacht boasts a range of exciting features that make her particularly appropriate for the waters of the Amalfi Coast . Indeed, her entertainment options range from a stunning selection of water toys to a sundeck Jacuzzi and a refreshingly modern interior.
IONIAN PRINCESS
Premiering on 3 May 2016, the very first season of Below Deck: Mediterranean , a spin-off of the increasingly popular franchise, took to viewers' screens. This time the ‘yachties’ took care of their guests onboard the motor yacht IONIAN PRINCESS in the Mediterranean destination of Greece .
The starring yacht IONIAN PRINCESS was delivered from Christensen in 2005 and was later refit in 2016 and again in 2021. Truly opulent, she bears interiors that are sleekly finished with a range of warmly toned woods and plenty of comfortable furnishings. She also boasts one of the largest sundecks for a yacht of her size.
Below Deck: Mediterranean Season 1 yacht IONIAN PRINCESS is not currently available for private yacht charter vacations.
Below Deck: Sailing Yacht
This is the first time the Below Deck franchise branched away from gleaming motor yachts, with the various weather issues that sailing yachts have to contend with adding even more drama and excitement.
The design of luxury sailing yachts also creates far more confined crew areas than we are used to seeing on the original Below Deck . In general, sailing yachts tend to feature smaller galleys, compact stew stations and cramped crew quarters which are in closer proximity to the guests’ living areas, putting crew under increased pressure to deliver their signature silver service.
In addition, deck crew are placed in a far more demanding role, with sailing yachts requiring increased accuracy and precision to safely maneuver and plenty of deck duties taking place in the midst of guest areas.

Below Deck Season 6: Where Are The Cast Members Now?
Bravo’s ‘Below Deck’ is a reality television show that focuses on the crew members who work on a private yacht as they cater to the needs and demands of high-end clients who embark on lavish and exclusive charter vacations. The crew members must also deal with their drama, which often spills over into their work lives. The sixth season of the show follows its cast into the yacht named My Seanna as it sails in the stunning waters of Tahiti. Since the premiere of the season in October 2018, fans have followed their favorite cast members closely and have been curious to know more about them since it wrapped up. We have got all the details for you, so let us begin!
Lee Rosbach is a Published Author Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Captain Lee Rosbach (@captain_lee_rosbach)
The captain of the ship was a veteran face in the sixth season of the show. He managed to run the boat successfully and was able to tackle the interpersonal problems that came his way. As a captain, he had to make some hard decisions but it did not deter Captain Lee from coming back to the show for a couple of more seasons. Owing to his health issues, he had to take a break during the filming of the tenth season and he revealed he will not be returning to the show.
Captain Lee is a published author of ‘Running Against the Tide: True Tales from the Stud of the Sea’, a book he co-wrote with Michael Shohl. He is enjoying his time with Laura Monteverdi, his wife, and lovingly calls her “my bride” in all of his Instagram posts. He has confirmed that he will be doing more work with Bravo but the details are still unknown.
Adrian Martin is Focusing on Family Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Adrian Martin (@chefadrianmartin)
The Chef on the cruise for Season 6 was Adrian Martin. He was well-liked by all other crew members because of his calm and composed demeanor and pleasant temperament. However, third stew Laura Betancourt, in one of her confessionals, mentioned Adrian passed some romantic advances and sexually charged remarks that made her feel uncomfortable. On the show, he apologized for his behavior when she confronted him about it. After appearing on ‘Below Deck’ for a single season, Adrian kept working as a chef in NYC and then moved to Saint Martin, where he grew up.
Following that, Adrian had been offering private dining experiences to his clients and had shared that he wanted to go on a tour all over the US. Interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Adrian picked up on his plans after 2021 and even worked on a couple of yachts during this time. In 2022, Adrian and his partner, Grace, had a daughter whom they named Poppy Eloise. From what we can tell, he is now settled in Oregon with his lovely family.
Kate Chastain is a Proud Mother Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kate Chastain (@kate_chastain)
The fan-favorite, Kate, brought her usual flair and feistiness to the sixth season of the show as well. There were many people she head-butted with but that is what fans love to see. In August of 2023, she appeared on a show named “Couch Talk” with Captain Lee and they discussed the “biggest moments of the week”. She is a new and proud mother of baby boy Sullivan Cay and has over one million followers on Instagram. This successful influencer has found different ways to reach new heights in her career and there is no stopping for Kate anytime soon.
Josiah Carter is Living a Content Life Today
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Josiah Carter (@josiahcarter_)
The British steward brought his refined service skills and keen attention to detail to the yacht and formed a good relationship with Kate. He quickly became a fan favorite and won over many hearts with his funny but well-meaning comments. After he departed from the show, he expressed that he could come back to the franchise for one of the spin-offs but the plans did not materialize due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Josiah is currently the owner of an ethical clothing brand named House of XOXO and is also a famous Instagram influencer. He and his long-time partner adopted a puppy Spoodle in December 2020 and they named him River. In addition to the fulfilling moments in Josiah’s life, he got engaged to Michael Groves in February 2022 and the couple will be married very soon this year. It seems like Josiah is very content in his life right now, and the doors for coming back to the Bravo production are not closed for him.
Caroline Bedol is Leading a Private Life Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by @socrazysocaroline
Caroline’s entry into the show was quite promising but it was not an easy ride for her as she sustained a lot of minor injuries and got into some heated arguments during the show. Even though Kate and Josiah celebrated her leaving the show, fans could not help but wonder what she has been up to. Caroline has kept a low profile since leaving the show and revealed that the time she spent on the show was quite traumatizing and she would like to recuperate for a while.
In a Reddit AMA, she did say that she can think about returning to the show. She said , “I would have another go at the third-stew position! Only because they would literally never attempt to eff with me again haha”. She has picked up her interest in horse riding again and espouses her political beliefs boldly. It looks like Caroline is gradually healing and is paving the way for great things ahead.
Laura Betancourt is a Yoga Instructor Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Laura Betancourt (@laurabetancourt)
Laura joined as a stew to replace Caroline in the middle of the charter season. Her strong personality clashed with Kate at the beginning of her arrival but the two were able to figure out a friendship along the way. Laura also had a brief romantic stint with Ashton while they were aboard.
Post leaving the show after just six episodes, Laura is now working as a yoga and fitness instructor with many certifications under her belt. She even hosts online practice sessions for her clients, which include celebrities. She is currently living in Hawaii and is making her followers envious with pictures of herself in beautiful and underexplored locations. From what we can tell, Laura is either single or she has decided to keep her love life under the radar. Whatever the case may be, she has great things written for her in the coming years and she seems to be thriving.
Chandler Brooks is Focusing on Personal Growth Now
The bosun of the yacht, Chandler, was not a favorite member of the crew. They felt he was not performing well at his job and had a bad attitude. He landed in a lot of trouble with Captain Lee because of not adhering to his orders and poorly treating his deckhands. Many fans agreed with Captain Lee for firing him but a lot of speculation has gone around related to his departure and his whereabouts after the show. Even though his co-star Caroline, in an AMA, said that Chandler was fired because he told the production team he wanted to resign and was overwhelmed with the job, there is no proof of the same.
Since his departure, Chandler has continued to rise the ranks in the yachting industry and is in a loving relationship with Jamie Jason, a cast member of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ season 3. Even though he is not present on social media, Jamie kept her profile public till a few years ago and it was evident that the couple were building a strong relationship while enjoying their respective careers and traveling. Chandler seems to have found some peace and stability in his life after the show, and better things are in store for him.
Ross Inia Keeps a Low-Profile Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Ross Inia (@ross_inia)
Ross Inia joined the show as a deckhand but following Chandler’s untimely departure from the show, he was promoted to bosun. According to his crew mates, he was a better leader than Chandler, even though he was not the best. He gained a lot of love and liking from the fans of the show but Inia did not make a second appearance. In December 2018, following the season wrap-up, Inia was partying with a few friends in West Palm Beach, Florida, when he got into a fight and was reportedly arrested for disorderly intoxication and battery.
As per reports, Inia was charged with a couple of felonies but the charges were later dropped to misdemeanors when he entered a “not guilty” plea. According to Bravo, he said, “It was just me and a couple of mates having a night out. That’s pretty much all I can say. I can’t really elaborate on it. It was a big misunderstanding.” He has kept a low profile since then and frequently posts pictures with his son, Kai. On a personal front, he got engaged to his girlfriend, Rachel, in May 2021 and wants to spend more time in Florida to stay close to both his son and his fiance. Sadly, Inia’s father passed away in February 2022. Though he misses him every single day, Inia keeps his father’s memories alive in his heart.
Ashton Pienaar is Doing Community Work Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by The Yo-Yo Diet Recovery Coach (@ashtonpienaar)
Ashton survived a near-death experience in the show when his leg got caught in a towline but he was fortunately saved by a cameraman. He returned to the show for the next season, but it soon became apparent that he had a drinking problem which led to him being fired. After he left the show, Ashton turned his life around and is currently the owner of a fitness company called A P Elite. In 2021, he declared that he had been sober for a year and is making strides in delivering on personal and familial relations. He is not only helping himself but also providing support to people to lead better and healthier lives and it seems like he is meant to do even greater things.
Rhylee Gerber is an Entrepreneur Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Rhylee Gerber (@thelifeofrhylee)
Born and brought up in Alaska, Rhylee joined the ‘below Deck’ crew as a deckhand. She did not get along well with many people in the show but always ended up in heated arguments with Ashton. She came back to the show for a subsequent season but has not made an appearance since then.
After deciding to leave the show for good, Rhylee went back to Alaska and started fishing professionally. She frequently posted about the daily ins and outs of her life and after the pandemic was over, she moved into a van and started traveling across the country. She was accompanied by her dog, Dolce, whom she lost to an unbeatable tumor in July 2020. She is currently an entrepreneur and is seemingly involved in animal rescue. She is a very successful influencer and is shining brighter than ever.
Tyler Rowland is a Digital Creator Now
View this post on Instagram A post shared by Tyler Rowland (@tyler.c.rowland)
With STCW and CPR certifications, Tyler made a good deckhand on ‘Below Deck’. Some sparks flew between him and Rhylee during the filming of the show but it did not lead to long-lasting relationships. After the show, he went back to working as a firefighter and has also become a digital creator. He has reclaimed his liking for adventure and frequently treks and travels to obscure destinations. He expresses interest in a lot of arenas like fitness, food, and activism. It is great to see Tyler being in his element and reclaiming his true self to achieve better.

Captain Glenn and his expert crew are setting sail in Ibiza for Season 5. A press release describes the locale as "the luxury party capital of the world" known for "sunny day parties and a crystal-clear coast."
What can fans expect on Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht ?
The crew aboard Parsifal III will have to "navigate" everything from "competitive co-workers" to "tense personal dynamics, all while trying to raise the bar every charter," according to a press release.
What's more, this season "Daisy is ready to take the reins back in the interior department with a new sense of energy and determination," the release continues. "However, plans for a stress-free charter season are threatened when her stews question her leadership."

Why lack of producer interference might get below deck sailing yacht season 5 canceled (they let gary king's bad behavior slide).

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 could be coming soon, but it seems like it may get canceled due to the lack of producer interference after Gary King displayed poor behavior . Throughout the run of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, First Officer Gary has been one of the major players in the cast. Working within the engineering team, Gary has been featured on the series since BDSY season 2, and his time with Captain Glenn Shephard has been one of the longest working relationships of his life. Although he’s been successful aboard Parsifal III, his behavior has been tough to watch.
While Gary may be a competent First Officer, his behavior on Below Deck Sailing Yacht hasn’t been positive for the duration of the series. Always dubbed a playboy, Gary has had women express discomfort about his behavior in the past, but the allegations he’s faced more recently are deeply serious. Gary’s time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is part of why the show has remained in limbo for the last year, even though the season has been filmed and ready to air for roughly 6 months. While producers have let Gary’s behavior slide , things may have taken a turn.
Gary Is Always Hooking Up With Women On The Show
He’s got a playboy moniker.
Throughout his run on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Gary has become known as the playboy of the series , consistently hooking up with women on whatever crew he’s part of. As he’s been working with the crew of Parsifal III for years, Gary ’s reputation has preceded him throughout his time on the superyacht. Although he’s never been all that discrete about his hookups, Gary has been open about the fact that he’s not ready to settle down. Even though he’s seen his friends and family find themselves settled in happy relationships, Gary’s nomadic lifestyle has made his playboy behavior more normalized.
20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Gary’s behavior on Below Deck Sailing Yacht has been uncomfortable for years, but in the most recent season of the series, his womanizing was at an all-time high. Throughout his time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 , Gary had issues with the relationship between his close friends Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae, especially when it came to Daisy being off-limits to him in a way he felt she hadn’t been in the past. While he was dealing with those emotions, he was uncomfortably flirty with Stews Lucy Edmunds and Mads Herrera , making both women uncomfortable aboard the Parsifal III.
Gary Has Undermined Past Crew Members
He’s never been a team player.
In the past, Gary’s work aboard Parsifal III has been decent but isn’t always the best when it comes to the way he interacts with other crew members. For example, Gary’s behavior toward Chase Lemacks on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4 was inappropriate and uncalled for. While Gary was right to reprimand Chase because of the chain of command, as his superior, Gary’s behavior toward Chase was odd . Chase didn’t follow some of his nominal orders but ultimately got things done aboard Parsifal III, but Gary’s distaste for his underling made it impossible for the pair to work together.
Gary Has Said Things In Poor Taste To The Women
His behavior has been out of line.
Although his time as a playboy has been well-documented, the way Gary speaks to women has been concerning throughout the show and was strange on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4. Gary’s relationship with Daisy , which has been a long-term friendship with some flirty notes, was off-kilter, which made the way he spoke to other women on the crew strange. Bringing up his hookup with Mads, Gary’s decision to speak so freely about private matters to other crew members made the rest of the women aboard Parsifal III uncomfortable. With a lack of sensitivity to women, Gary’s language was harsh.
Producers Do Nothing To Stop Gary's Inappropriate Behavior
They’ve always let gary be gary.
While Gary is responsible for himself, the fact that Below Deck producers haven’t stepped in to stop his behavior in the past is concerning for the safety and comfort of the rest of the crew. Though there have been some moments that are simply uncomfortable in general but manageable, there have been others where production should’ve stepped in to ensure the safety of the rest of the cast. Throughout Below Deck Sailing Yacht ’s run, Gary has been an issue that needs to be kept on a short leash, but the producers of the series have failed to manage his behavior.
Gary may be the kind of reality TV star who makes drama but needs to be kept on a short leash to allow him to do so in a safe manner. With the producers behind Below Deck Sailing Yacht failing to make sure that Gary is acting appropriately with others, they’ve allowed him to continually practice bad habits with the rest of the crew members he’s worked with. Allowing Gary to be Gary may have been good for drama, but refusing to stop his poor behavior has resulted in mistrust from Below Deck Sailing Yacht viewers and potential cancelation.
