Skipper Your Own Yacht

No license is required for a Yacht Charter in the Whitsundays, unlike other locations Worldwide, however some experience is essential.

To charter a sailing vessel, you will need to have sailing experience and be competent in handling a sailing vessel in most conditions.

On the morning of your Charter we do a comprehensive boat and area briefing and if you feel that you are not comfortable captaining your own ship, we are happy to arrange for a Sail Guide for your Charter.

If you wish to do nothing at all on your holiday, and leave the work to us, we can also arrange a hostess/cook and crew.

steve, Thank you so much for accommodating our group so last minute. As you know, we are in town for a country music festival in ipswich and we’re so glad to spend our day off on the ocean. Obviously, we booked under our alias for confidential reasons. That being said, we want you to know the social investment of Kelsea alone is $30,000. Old dominion is an equally influential act. As you’ve already posted and tagged (without approval), we would like to arrange an agreement. Kelsea is willing to post one more instagram photo (1.1 million followers) and tag your company with the compromise that you offer a discount to your services. Life is made up of moments that are truly hard to forget! My partner provided me with one of the best birthday presents anyone could ever ask for. I was under the impression we would be staying in an air bnb but when we arrived at a luxurious property and the gate drew back, my surprise took a turn and I quickly realised this was not the place I would be staying. The walkway down to the boat made me very giddy indeed as this was not something you experience every day. We were met by Grant and Carolyn all dressed in boating regalia and the tone was quickly set by their wonderful greeting and eagerness to provide a first-class service. This tone didn’t drop an iota throughout the trip. Every single detail was meticulously planned and I felt like I was royalty for the weekend. The Yacht itself was decadent and opulent beyond what thoughts I could muster. My partner and I did not have to worry about anything at all on the yacht as we were waited on hand and foot by these wonderful people. I have worked in hospitality for the majority of my life and I believe my standards have always been high…..these guys blew it out of the water…..and then some. You have the choice to do exactly as you please and they facilitate all that you require. We got to jump from the top of the boat and go swimming, we visited an idyllic isolated island and had a champagne picnic and we were treated to one of the best meals I have ever had and Grant and Carolyn had just themselves to organise such a ridiculously mouth watering meal. Such was the decency and salt of the earth nature of these guys that we asked them to join us for a few drinks in the evening and we had an absolute blast with them. Top shelf spirits and wines were all part of the package and you really did feel like you would never get an experience like this ever again. I can’t speak highly enough of what this trip meant to us and given the opportunity; we will be embarking on such a voyage in the near future. This trip would not have even been close to what it was without the decency, generosity and kindness that the hosts provided all the way through.

Your trip around the Whitsundays will be an amazing experience that will give you memories to last a lifetime. The boat is a comfortable home away from home and the destinations are truely awe-inspiring. The skipper is knowledgeable and experienced, and you will feel safe in his hands: whether that is when sailing, stand up paddle boarding or snorkelling (with electrified shark repellant). On board dining is also a true gourmet experience, from the fresh local sea food to baked and BBQ delights. If you want to cruise the Whitsundays in a luxury private yacht, you can’t go past this boat experience.
