Rossinavi reveals new renderings of 52m Portofino yacht concept

Italian yard Rossinavi has revealed new renderings of its 52 metre concept named Portofino.
It comes after the builder unveiled the design for the first time at the Monaco Yacht Show in September 2021.
Speaking about the concept, Rossinavi's chief operating officer, Federico Rossi said: "[Portofino] is a superyacht without compromises, with an interior and exterior layout that allows you to make the most of all areas."
The design sees Enrico Gobbi's Team For Design team up with Rossinavi once again following a number of recent collaborations including the newly-launched 48 metre Polaris and the 50 metre EIV .
Constructed with an aluminium hull and superstructure, Portofino features three decks and is characterised by wide decks and long windows. The concept is described by the yard as "traditional and modern at the same time" and has been designed with "extensive voyages and transoceanic routes" in mind.
Speaking at the Monaco Yacht Show, designer Enrico Gobbi said: "The goal was to create a distinctive yacht with competitive and unique spaces, without forgetting the sleek proportions of a dynamic yacht with refined details.
The concept features a 130 sqm sun deck with sun pads, a bar, shaded dining and lounging to port and starboard and sun loungers aft. "It's the longest flydeck in the market," said Gobbi.
The design also allows for a 60 sqm beach club and wellness centre with a sauna and hammam, with the engine room moved slightly forward and tender operations limited to the bow. The beach club area is illuminated by a skylight in the form of a glass-bottomed swimming pool on the deck above.
Al fresco entertaining takes place on the upper deck and is divided into two key areas. Forward of the wheelhouse is a U-shaped lounge with a pop-up cinema screen and a central fire pit, while the aft deck is home to a large, circular dining table.
Team For Design was also appointed to create the interiors for the Portofino project. Floor-to-ceiling windows are used through the main and upper decks to provide ocean views while bathing spaces, such as the main saloon, in natural light.
Accommodation is for a total of 10 guests split between a full-beam owner's suite, which is positioned forward on the main deck, with four guest cabins below. In order to provide a bigger guest accommodation area on the lower deck, the designers opted to position the tender and toys storage area on the foredeck. Other onboard amenities include a wine and cigar cellar.
Portofino is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines that deliver a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles when cruising at 12 knots. The project will also be fitted with twin stabilizers and zero noise technology that "dramatically reduces noise and vibrations," the yard said.
The Portofino 52 will sit beneath the 500GT threshold with a 2.45 metre draft for shallow water cruising and naval architecture courtesy of Arrabito Naval Architects.
