What a wonderful experience! The boat was clean, plenty of room on deck and below deck, very knowledgeable owners of the boat! Lake Fairview was beautiful at sunset and going to The Grill afterwards for a bite and drinks was the cherry on top! I would highly recommend this ride for all ages!

Sailing Lessons

American sailing association certification course.

Have you ever desired to learn to sail? American Sailing Association (ASA)-accredited schools offer sailing lessons with hands-on training in sailing fundamentals. This comprehensive 15-hour sailing course includes practical instruction in the rigging of a boat, raising a sail, and using the wind to steer a full-keel sailboat. Additionally, students learn boat docking, tying knots, and other crucial safety procedures. In these sailing n lessons, not only can you  learn to sail a small keel sailboat, you can also receive your official ASA 101 sailing certification.

Sailing lessons are taught in small groups of up to 4 so that students can learn and progress at their own pace. Private classes can be flexible around your schedule! Simply call to schedule a class that works for you. Classes are hosted by and taught at Lake Fairview Marina.  Please check their website here for current pricing and availability.

Youth Sailing Program - Sailing Lessons for Ages 14+

We partnered up with the Central Florida Boating Association to offer dynamic youth programs to teach the next generation of boaters and sailors! Designed for students aged 14 and up, our Youth Sailing Programs cover the fundamentals of sailing. Young sailors will master tactical maneuvers, rigging and de-rigging boats, and harnessing the wind in a race, gaining hands-on experience operating a dinghy sailboat. Join us on our 24-ft Hunter sailboat, or our Certified Sailing Instructor can come teach you on yours!

In this Course, young sailors will….

• Learn boat components & how to rig a sailboat
• Develop Wind awareness
• Learn upwind and downwind sailing techniques
• Practice tacking and gybing maneuvers

Introduction to Sailing for Adults

Have you ever dreamed of sailing, but don’t know where to start? Sailing is a combination of many skills and knowledge. This 2-hour introduction to sailing course is a great way to learn about the fun of sailing and help you decide if you want to move forward with our more advanced courses.
