Perfection in Precise Time

Dragon kickstarted her life on spec on the shores of Naples at Palumbo Superyachts some years ago. She was pieced together slowly, and when Palumbo moved to Ancona, the heavyweight hull was carried across the Adriatic to her new home in 2017, ready for her final style. The turnaround was tight, and concepts had to be imagined in relatively close periods of time, but with Francesco Guida on the interior and Hydro Tec at the helm, this yacht is proof that perfection doesn’t have to take an age.

It’s a sailors ship that’s for sure, with a double-tiered engine room, excellent practical layout, and all the stats that a yacht captain loves to see. An 80m length spans forever, and with a 13m maximum beam, Dragon’s internal volume is huge, making it a sheer haven of space upon the seas. Twin engines power a maximum speed of 17 knots and can gently cruise at 12 knots when in eco mode.

A stack of six decks adds to the fantasy feeling of being able to spread out and with 10 cabins, an impressive teak bridge, wonderful wellness center and beach club, not to mention endless arenas for fabulous flopping, this yacht just seems to encompass the promise of an endless summer.

The 79.9m/262'2" 'My Dragon' motor yacht built by the Italian shipyard Columbus Yachts is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 7 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by Italian designer Francesco Guida.

With an abundance of space and superlative amenities across her luxurious decks, you'll be spoilt for choice on a luxury yacht charter aboard My Dragon. She is equipped with a beauty salon, spa, elevator, underwater lights, beach club and gym.

Guest Accommodation

Built in 2019, My Dragon offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 7 suites. The master suite incorporates its own study and dressing room. There are up to nineteen crew members on board to provide outstanding service on your charter.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Keeping comfortable and entertained on My Dragon is easy thanks to the available amenities including a beauty salon featuring all of the facilities required for a number of different beauty treatments. Take the opportunity to be thoroughly pampered and indulged in the spa and in addition revive yourself after an intense workout in the sauna. The swimming pool is perfect for exercising or admiring a romantic sunrise. My Dragon benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter including an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin MTU engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 6,000 nautical miles from her 219,000 litre fuel tanks at cruising speed.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy endless days of fun on the water with the exceptional collection of water toys and accessories aboard My Dragon. Columbus yachts sold new Columbus classic 80 m

After the recent sale of (hull #11) Sport ISA 120, the commercial success of Palumbo Group continues. The Group announces the signature of a contract for a new Columbus Classic 80 m – Columbus Yachts brand – now real “couture” for the construction of full custom super-yachts.

Palumbo entrusted for the naval architecture, exteriors and interiors design some of the most renowned international firms currently in the yachting industry. The entire project will be supervised by Palumbo Group’s engineering in-house team.

The design of the new Columbus 80m – which is spread over five closed decks and a huge roof top on the sun deck – is made up of a mix of contemporary elements combined with classic proportions that make for the elegant and timeless design.

The features of Columbus 80m Classic are harmonious and simple, combining straight lines with a discreet use of volumes, drawing soft and stylish elements.

Glass as well has an essential role on the yacht and is widely used as a design and architectural element. Large windows and glass embankments, enhance the feeling of being in contact with the sea.

Columbus Yacht Unveils 80m Hexa-Deck Superyacht

Columbus claims to have adopted a new manufacturing approach with this 80m yacht that is currently under construction at the Palumbo Group’s Naples shipyard.  Her steel hull is expected to be completed shortly.  Afterwards, a barge will move the hull to the sister facility in Ancona where it will be joined to the pre-fabricated aluminum superstructure. Building the yacht in two concurrent sections will shorten delivery time by 32 weeks.

Exterior lines by Hydro Tec and Columbus Yachts cut a figure of balance, while the bow’s longitudinal sweep bows to tradition. The interior comes from Guida Design in conjunction with Columbus Yachts, with the layout devoted to comfort and convenience. Amenities include two forward garages, a sauna, a gym and cinema room.

Notable features include the aft beach club that grows from 100 to 200sqm thanks to retractable yacht walls. The sun deck features a 7m pool with counter-current swimming system and a hydro-massage tub.

The entire upper deck is dedicated to the owners; suite and has panoramic views of the horizon. Meanwhile, the main deck houses six large double guest suites in the forward section, while a seventh cabin on the lower deck can be used as a wildcard for last-minute guests.

Generous crew quarters accommodate 19. Crew can relax with access to a large galley and exclusive gym along with access to a service elevator that connects all decks.

Twin MTU engines with 3044hp propel this 2015GT yacht to a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 6,000nm.

Description

Jeanneau 51 is a sailing yacht in production since 2018. It has international CE (A) certification and can be operated on the high seas. The case of the model is made of fiberglass, its length is 15.38 meters, width - 4.7 meters, and draft - 2.10 meters. The vessel is equipped with seats for sixteen passengers and three cabins with six berths.

Four sofas are installed on the cockpit of the ship, transforming into sun loungers and equipped with lockers. Between them are a folding wooden table and a passage to the captain’s post with two corner sofas and an adjustable steering wheel. On the sides of the yacht installed metal railings and stairs for access to water. On the bow of Jeanneau 51 there is a double soft lounger with a compact table - you can enter it through the aisles located on both sides.

The main cabin of the yacht has two corner sofas and a wooden dining table. On the starboard side there is a galley with a sink, a refrigerator, several food drawers, a bar and an oven. On the port side there is an electronic control panel with a soft armchair and a table. In the bow there is a spacious sleeping cabin with a double bed, a wardrobe and two armchairs. Doors leading to two compact sleeping cabins with double beds are installed next to the stairs. On the port side, in a separate room, a bathroom is equipped.

A stationary engine rated at 80 or 110 hp is installed on the model. The capacity of its fuel tank is 240 liters, and the tank for fresh water is 640 liters.
