ISA Yachts presents 33m Granturismo model

ISA Yachts , a brand of Palumbo Superyachts, has expanded its Granturismo line with a new 33 metre model.

The ISA GT 33 is the smallest offering in the line and takes inspiration from its siblings with a pronounced bow and a sweeping arch that begins at the wheelhouse and leads to the stern. Its sporty profile is the work of Enrico Gobbi - Team for Design , who designed the previous models, in collaboration with the shipyard's in-house team of naval architects. 

The yacht's layout has been designed to create a seamless integration between inside and out on each of her three decks. The main saloon is conceived with an L-shaped sofa facing an entertainment centre on the forward bulkhead with a coffee table and chairs. Guests can also be seated on the aft deck beneath the shade of the overhang with a nearby bar - the cockpit sofas have been designed to not block the view from the interior. 

Meanwhile, the upper deck features a circular dining room, a hallmark of Palumbo 's ISA brand, which offers guests 180-degree views while seated and also permits the aft deck and upper saloon to be used as a single indoor-outdoor space.

Other highlights of the design include a sweep of sunpads on the upper deck aft - alongside a sit-up bar - while a secondary sun lounge can be found tucked into the bow, with a hydro-massage swimming pool and forward-facing sofa.

The ISA GT 33 can accommodate a total of 10 guests with the owner's cabin located on the main deck forward. The space features a walkaround berth with a wardrobe positioned behind the headboard, a chaise longue beneath the starboard window and an en suite bathroom forward. On the lower level, there are two VIP cabins and two convertible double cabins with additional accommodation for a complement of five crew.

The new model will be built with an aluminium hull and superstructure and will be powered by twin MTU 1620hp engines for a top speed of 21 knots. 

Currently under construction at ISA Yachts is the second hull in the ISA GT 45 series , which was sold at the end of 2021, and an 80 metre custom build with delivery slated for 2026 . The shipyard also confirmed the sale of the first 66 metre unit in a brand new line of yachts called the Sportiva series.

The newcomer was sold to a repeat client in July, just over a month after the presentation of the new GT range. The owner, who has enjoyed the 217-foot ISA superyacht Okto for almost a decade, was seeking a fresh, innovative megayacht for the years to come. Enter Future. 

“The owner has always relied on Palumbo Superyachts for the maintenance of his superyacht,” Giuseppe Palumbo, CEO of Palumbo, said in a statement . “This allowed us to create a project tailored to his needs by formulating a new model with high-performance lines that winks at the near future.”

The yacht was once again penned by Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design and will feature naval architect by Palumbo’s in-house team. Billed as a “sporty coupé,” the 262-footer is replete with long, curved lines that create a sleek silhouette. The steel gray hull is adorned with charcoal details that further accentuate its shape. The superstructure is also set back further toward the aft than other Gran Turismo yachts to emphasize the distinctive ISA arch.

Stepping onboard, the main deck is home to four double cabins and a VIP with a lounge, while the lower deck sports a VIP cabin with twin beds and 10 crew cabins that can collectively seep 18. Occupying pride of place on the upper deck, the spacious and secluded owner’s suite is described as a “true glasshouse.” It is equipped with giant floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, a vanity area, two wardrobes, and an office. Gobbi will also take care of the interior design.

Project Future is expected to hit the seas in 2027. Stay tuned.
