First up is the 2024 U.S. National Championship, hosted by the Santa Barbara Yacht Club (SBYC) on July 12-14. "The local Melges 24 fleet is thrilled to welcome competitors from around the country to the 2024 National Championship in Santa Barbara," says local fleet captain Jon Bell.

The Santa Barbara Yacht Club turns 150. There's a lot to celebrate this summer at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club—150 years of history, to be exact. It was in 1872 that Lloyd's Register of American Yachts, the repository of maritime records, noted the establishment of SBYC, making it the second oldest yacht club on the West Coast.
CHRF racing
CHRF races are usually held on Sundays with starting times beginning at 13:00:00 during Pacific Standard Time and at 14:00:00 during Daylight Saving Time. Many CHRF participants enjoy a leisurely brunch at the club, and then head out for a wonderful afternoon of fun and camaraderie. Following the race, awards are presented in the Club.
