The 34m/111'7" expedition yacht 'Lady Jade' (ex. Catalonian Spirit) was built by Inace Yachts in Brazil at their Fortaleza shipyard. Her interior is styled by design house Kirschstein Designs Ltd and she was delivered to her owner in September 2008. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Inace Yachts and she was last refitted in 2023.

Lady Jade has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites comprising one VIP cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 6 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Lady Jade is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Her water tanks store around 18,480 Litres of fresh water. She was built to ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) ✠A1, Yachting Service, ✠AMS, ✠ABCU classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.

Lady Jade is a 40.14 m motor yacht built in Brazil by Inace Yachts and delivered in 2008. It is one of two Explorer 110 models and has a top speed of 13.5 kn and a cruising speed of 12.0 kn. Lady Jade is listed at number 2127 in the world rankings for largest yachts and is the 2nd-largest yacht built by INACE Yachts. The ownership of superyachts is generally private, so the exact answer to who owns which superyacht is not always publicly available.

In 2006, Jade Yachts transformed Lady Jade into a sumptuous private yacht for French billionaire Bernard Arnault, named AMADEUS. Lady Moura was the ninth largest private yacht when launched in 1990 for USD200 million but moved down the list in 2021 to number 11. Lady BETH is a 54.86m superyacht built by Newcastle Marine in the United States and delivered in 2011.

The yacht GALLANT LADY was built for automotive entrepreneur Jim Moran (1918-2007), who built an automobile empire that ranks as the 30th largest privately held yacht. Lady Jade was designed and built by Brazilian yacht maker Inace Yachts in 2008 as a new model superyacht and explorer vessel. Reportedly owned by Malaysia’s richest man, Robert Kuok, and designed by Stuart Hughes in the UK, the yacht is only a paltry 100 feet long. Its worth is said to be derived from its lavish finishes, including a statue constructed from genuine Tyrannosaurus rex bones, a liquor bottle embedded with an 18.5-carat diamond, and a primary bedroom with one wall made from meteorite and another from a 24-karat gold Aquavista Panoramic Wall Aquarium. This is why people like Amazon founder Jeff Bezos work to keep their yachts out of the public eye. Though we are not including Jeff Bezos’s yacht, Koru (Maori for “coil”), in this list because it is a sailing yacht and thus excluded from the realm of these motor yachts, it created controversy in the Netherlands when its presence became known. Jeff Bezos’s abided the $500 million price tag of Oceanco, the Dutch custom yacht builder, to create the 417-foot megayacht. But when the company, at Bezos’s behest, requested that a local bridge be dismantled to make way for its gigantic mast on its journey from the shipyard, public sentiment turned against the cento-billionaire, and Oceano shelved its request. Maybe a port like Monaco would be more accommodating?

Sailing Yacht A was delivered by Nobiskrug on 3 February 2017, and left Kiel on 5 February 2017. It exited the Baltic Sea in light mode on near-empty fuel tanks in order to clear the Drogden Strait with minimum draught. It underwent final sea trials and the final fit-out at the Navantia shipyard in Cartagena, Spain. Boat International called it “the boundary pushing superyacht”. The yacht is owned by Melnichenko through Valla Yachts Ltd. of Bermuda, and was initially registered there at Hamilton. In December 2021 the yacht was moved to the Isle of Man flag and registered at Douglas.

Since 1956, Lusben has been carrying out custom refit projects  on super, motor and sailing yachts from all over the world and the yard recently completed the refit of M/Y Lady Jade.

The yacht arrived at the shipyard in Viareggio in October 2022 for major maintenance and refitting work , including a complete repaint that returned the hull to its original blue colour.

Lady Jade – interiors

The interiors have also been given a complete makeover with attention to detail. The changes to the layout span the entire Main and Lower Decks, as well as much of the Upper Deck, including the bridge.

The refit involved new furnishings and decor for the full-beam owner’s suite located forward on the Main Deck, as well as for the four guest cabins and the VIP cabin on the Lower Deck, which have been refurbished with an upgrade to guest area comfort and now feature elegant but cosy settings in a style that points up a palette of dark colours and black lacquer.

The work included a major structural modification to the aft section of the hull, where the quarter boards have been reduced in size to give the aft cockpit a more open feel.

The ceiling on the Flybridg e was also extended in length by a metre, adding to the shade in the outdoor bar/dining area. The exterior styling has also been given a more distinctive personality by installing underwater lights along the entire length of the boat’s hull.

The refit of Lady Jade has embraced both the wishes of the owner and the designer’s ideas , thanks to the expertise of the yard’s workforce and the meticulous care lavished on every stage of the refitting process.

The 41m LADY JADE yacht completed her refit at the Lusben shipyard in Viareggio. Built by Inace Yachts in 2008, Lady Jade had an important 6m extension at the Alia Yachts in Atalaya, followed by the refit works done by Lusben, based on designs by Stefano Pastrovich . The yacht arrived at the yard in October 2022 and was recently relaunched.

Now sporting a new look, having returned to her original blue hull colour, she had a repaint, and metalwork modification on the ceiling of the sundeck and to the aft section of the hull, to create a sleeker and more modern style. She also has a new layout and decor on the inside, designed by Stefano Pastrovich.

A complete renovation of the interior has also been carried out with great attention to detail. The layout has been changed on the Upper Deck, as well as on the Main and Lower Decks. For the full-beam owner’s suite which is found forward on the Main Deck, as well as the four guest cabins and VIP cabins found on the Lower Deck, the refit involved new furnishings and decor. There has been a significant improvement in guest comfort in these areas, which now feature elegant, yet inviting settings in a style highlighting dark colours and black lacquer.

To give the aft cockpit a more open feel, the quarter boards at the back of the hull were reduced in size. A metre-long ceiling was added to the Flybridge, increasing shade in the outdoor bar/dining area. A line of underwater lights has also been installed along the entire length of the boat’s hull to give it a more distinctive look.
