Our meeting point is directly dockside in Capri's marina. Ours is the final pier at the far end beneath Il Faro Rosso. Our clients can use the marina's electric carts parked inside the red entrance gate to the marina to reach the pier.

Payment: in order to confirm the booking we kindly request a 50% deposit and the remaining 50% within 15 days before the embarking. Cancellation policy: within 30 days NO penalty - from 29 to 15 days 50% penalty - from 14 days to no show 100% penalty. In case of bad sea conditions, being not good enough to guarantee your safety on board during the tour (at the discretion of the Captain or The Yacht Management Company), you will be totally reimbursed or, alternatively, you will have the opportunity to reschedule the service.

In case of breakdown of the yacht/boat, we will give you an equal or better level yacht at the same conditions but without any refund.

Doing a boat tour around Capri is a simply magical experience, and one I highly suggest adding to your Southern Italy itinerary. Capri has some unique caves and rock formations, whose real beauty is best seen from the sea.

Before we dive into an overview of the best Capri tours, I want to give you an overview of important things to take into account when it comes to choosing the perfect Capri boat tour for you.

Ultimately we all have different travel styles, budgets and priorities, so the best Capri boat trip for me might not be the best one for you. Here is what you need to think about when choosing your Capri boat tour.

Starting point:  Where do you want your Capri boat tour to start from? Do you want to make your own way to Capri with the ferry and join a boat trip once there?

Or would you prefer to get picked up at your accommodation in Amalfi Coast and be taken to Capri? The starting point of your boat trip will obviously influence your itinerary, as well as price.

Group / boat size:  Budget will be the main deciding factor here, but it’s important to look at the different types of boats that do boat tours in Capri.

Some group tours are cheap, but it often means you’ll be on a huge boat with loads of other people. If you want a gozzo boat tour with a smaller group, or even a private boat, the price tag is obviously going to be higher.

Itinerary:  If there’s something specific you want to see in Capri, make sure it’s included in the itinerary! Not all boat tours do the same stops, as some skip the famous Blue Grotto for example, and others don’t give you free time on land.

What’s included:  Make sure to check what’s included in every boat tour before picking one! Sometimes they’ll include drinks, snacks, or even a full lunch, and this will be reflected in the price.

If you’re travelling as a couple and you’re looking for boat tours around Capri, look no further than this one .

It’s relatively short, lasting 2 hours, so it doesn’t do a full tour of the island, but there’s enough time to see the beautiful coastline from the sea.

You’ll get to see sights like the Faraglioni Rocks, some cool grottoes and cliffs, and go for a swim in the sparkling sea. For me, it’s an ideal activity to do on an independent Capri day trip.

You get the ferry there, and then from Capri’s Marina Grande, you embark on this short private tour (which means it’s just you and your partner) on a charming wooden boat to take in the island from the sea.  

Afterwards, you have ample time to explore the island independently, giving you the best of both worlds. It’s what we did, and I think it made for a pretty perfect Capri day trip .

Capri Island Boat Trip with Grottoes

This is a big group boat tour , which means you’ll be sharing the boat with other people — ideal for a solo traveller or group of friends.

Setting sail from Capri’s Marina Grande, the tour takes in the stunning coast of Capri while the captain fills you in with the history and anecdotes from Capri’s illustrious past.

You’ll pass by the Baths of Tiberius, the Punta Carena Lighthouse, and marvel at the island’s rock formations such as the Faraglioni Rocks, the White Grotto and the Green Grotto.

An optional extra is a visit to the Blue Grotto; Capri boat tours don’t often include this and you have to pay extra for the entrance.

How to reach Capri Blue Boats and set sail
