SUNSEEKER ANNOUNCES LINE-UP FOR MONACO YACHT SHOW

Sunseeker has announced its luxury line-up of yachts on display at the world-renowned Monaco Yacht Show. Represented by its distributor, Sunseeker London Group, Sunseeker will be at the upcoming show in Port Hercule from 28 September – 1 October with three of its striking models; the 88 Yacht, 90 Ocean and 116 Yacht*.

The beautiful 88 Yacht perfectly showcases Sunseeker’s new-found design direction. There is an abundance of social spaces on board, making it the perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. The vast flybridge enjoys a superb layout with beautifully appointed furniture on the spacious aft deck and the option of an infinity spa bath with sun pad. It’s a brilliant space for entertaining with ample places to sit and relax thanks to companion seating adjacent to the helm and extended U-shaped seating opposite a feature wet bar with everything you could need for a fabulous get together. Owners can also opt for fixed stools to turn this into a lively bar area. The foredeck features another private, social space with a large sunbathing area and comfortable lounge seating complemented by premium side decks as standard.

Exemplifying the very best in technical excellence, the 88 Yacht features Sunseeker’s X-TEND™ transom seating system that cleverly converts at the flick of a switch, facing rearward at Beach Club level to facing aft into the cockpit, offering flexibility to seating arrangements dependent on owner preference. Epitomising sophistication, the Sunseeker 116 Yacht offers a spectacular deck and superstructure, open-plan layout and stylish modern interior. Built to RINA Pleasure Craft certification, the 116 Yacht is abounding with features. Ideal for long-range cruising, she can sustain 1,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 12 knots with a top speed of up to 26 knots. She benefits from an exceptional living and dining area, forward master suite and voluminous flybridge deck with raised wheelhouse, making use of her generous 24’ beam. Luxury cabins provide accommodation for ten guests in a five-cabin arrangement as standard, or up to 12 guests in a specified configuration, each with its own en suite. SUNSEEKER UNVEILS THE 120 YACHT AT THE MONACO YACHT SHOW

The just concluded Monaco Yacht Show 2023 saw British shipbuilder Sunseeker unveil its newest marvel, the 120 Yacht.

Positioned between the slightly more compact 116 Yacht and the larger 131, the 120 represents a new and refined design for the brand’s Superyacht lineup characterized by bolder geometry, a more athletic silhouette, and seemingly limitless functionality.

With its elegant profile, the new yacht combines tradition and innovation, providing the familiar Sunseeker experience with an even more refined aesthetic. Still in concept form, the yacht will have the following to offer.

Aft Platform

Upon setting foot on the 120, you are greeted by a full-width rise and fall bathing platform, setting the stage for what lies ahead. Here, a gull-wing door conceals a day head, shower, and storage compartments, while a tender garage provides enough room for a 6-meter tender and two jet skis.

From the bathing platform, stairs on the starboard side ascend to the boat’s spacious cockpit. With ample room for up to ten, the aft cockpit features a trio of sofas joined in a c-configuration and dual symmetrical tables centered around a fully equipped wet bar, providing an easily accessible setting for outdoor socialization and relaxation.

As you step into the 120 Yacht’s saloon, the full-height glazing immediately captivates, inviting plenty of natural light into the lounge and reaffirming the 120’s connection with its surroundings. Crafted by Design Unlimited, the open-plan saloon, just like all interior spaces on the yacht, exudes class with luxurious stone finishes, detailed centerpiece bulkheads, and striking lighting fixtures.

Aft, the saloon is graced with free-standing furniture, including a large sofa, armchairs, and integrated tabletop and shelving units, all surrounding a finely appointed transparent coffee table. Just forward, an exquisite dining table awaits, offering seating for twelve in a sociable setting. The dining and lounging areas are subtly demarcated by framing screens, retaining an airy ambiance while providing a cozy dining and lounging experience.

Further ahead lies the main deck’s magnificent master suite, featuring full-height windows, free-standing furniture, a lavish ensuite bathroom with dual wash basins, a large bed, a dressing room with a vanity desk, and plenty of storage space for personal belongings.

Starboard stairs from either the cockpit or foredeck lead to the 120’s large flybridge. Equipped with multiple seating, dining, and entertainment layouts, the 120 Yacht’s Flybridge is the perfect outdoor spot for any social gatherings aboard. The forward section houses the boat’s only helm station, fully equipped with Sunseeker’s latest navigation and monitoring gear.

Lower Deck & Foredeck

Descending to the lower deck reveals the Yacht 120’s generous guest and crew cabins, enough for eight to ten guests, along with five crew members. The raised foredeck is pretty spacious, too, with plenty of amenities ranging from dedicated zones for sunbathing, dining, and lounging to an optional spa tub.

Engine and Performance

Beyond its luxurious appointments, the Sunseeker 120 Yacht is engineered for performance too. A pair of MTU 12V 2000 M97L engines propel the yacht to a top speed of 20 knots, with an impressive range of 1,730 nautical miles at 10 knots.

While we are yet to see the Sunseeker 120 Yacht in the flesh, based on what we know of Yachts 116 and 131, it’s reasonable to anticipate a continuation of Sunseeker’s signature blend of majestic elegance and robust performance. With a newer and more refined experience, the 120 Yacht is poised to elevate Sunseeker’s superyacht lineup further, setting a new benchmark in luxury seafaring. We’re looking forward to the event where the company unveils the finished product.

Sunseeker Reveals More Details About its Groundbreaking 120 Yacht

First revealed as a concept at the Monaco Yacht Show 2023, Sunseeker has unveiled more details about the design evolution of its latest project: the 36.6m 120 Yacht. Set apart from other yachts in her class, this floating oasis offers a vast array of exceptional onboard spaces, including a large aft cockpit.

The Sunseeker 120 Yacht is a beautiful culmination of heritage, innovation and performance, drawing on Sunseeker’s expertise and elevating the British yard’s superyacht range. She boasts three cascading decks, each offering an array of luxurious features, and an eye-catching design with an elegant profile and lavish interior. The 120 is set apart from other yachts within her class with the addition of a large aft cockpit, impressive flybridge and stunning main deck Owner’s cabin. 

Her exterior design is characterised by bold geometric shapes, alongside exuding style and effortless functionalities. The 120 Yacht boasts a range of innovative design elements, including a fixed sun lounger with a parasol integrated into the tender garage door, offering a unique way to relax by the water. 

Her exterior spaces are unmatched, acting as an outdoor sanctuary for guests, with loose furniture providing a comfortable seating area alongside a fixed wet bar. The cockpit is separated from the interior by a stunning curved glazing, offering a private space for socialising. 

The 120 Yacht’s revolutionary flybridge is a spectacular addition, boasting over 71 sqm of living space. It is a great entertainment area, featuring three sunloungers, a large sofa, and four lounging chairs, with a dining table that can seat twelve guests. 

An elevated foredeck can be found forward of the raised pilot house, including a C-shaped seating group with twin tables that are complimented by a spa tub and four-person sunpad. The 120 Yacht’s design has been meticulously considered, ensuring seamless movement through the vessel and ample space for both guests and crew. Strategic access points have been implemented to facilitate convenient service across the yacht, whilst she features uninterrupted access from stern to bow, enhancing liveability on board.

The 120 Yacht’s interior is a masterpiece, penned by Design Unlimited, and exuding sophistication in every single element. Natural light is a key feature, enhanced by the elective materials used throughout her design and reflective surfaces that bounce the light around the space. Guests can become completely immersed in their sumptuous surroundings, which is characterised by stone finishes, statement lighting pieces and detailed centrepiece bulkheads. 

Up to ten guests can be accommodated onboard the 120 Yacht across four cabins, each equipped with an ensuite. The Owner’s suite on the 122 sqm main deck is phenomenal, benefitting from a completely flush floor to the bathroom to enhance ease of movement between spaces. This suite is a private oasis, furnished to an exceptionally high standard and enhanced by an abundance of natural light which floods in through floor-to-ceiling windows. 

Her beautiful and innovative design is enhanced even further with the scope for customisation, allowing for Owner’s to elevate the design as the space can be manipulated to perfectly reflect their style and preferences. The 120 Yacht is geared up to be an exceptional model: a true reflection of Sunseeker’s expertise with meticulous attention placed on the Owner and guests’ onboard experience.

The British yard describes its new Sunseeker 120 Yacht concept as “bold, athletic and effortless”

Sunseeker used the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show to unveil its latest superyacht concept in the form of the Sunseeker 120 Yacht.

Slotting into the range between the Sunseeker 116 Yacht and the Sunseeker 130 Yacht, this raised pilothouse design is characterised by “bold geometry, an athletic silhouette, immaculate style and effortless functionality” the yard explains.

Key features include a foredeck seating area that slides forward to reveal a hot tub, as well as a main deck owner’s suite with full-height windows.

Meanwhile, the transom features a gull-wing door that conceals a day head and shower, as well as enough storage space for a 6m tender and two jet skis.

The hull design has been optimised for fuel efficiency, meaning that the Sunseeker 120 Yacht can hit a top speed of 20 knots powered by a pair of 2,000hp MTU V12 engines – relatively small for a yacht of this size.

Dial that speed back to 10 knots and a cruising range of 1,730nm will be possible, the yard estimates.

The all-new Ocean 182 has arrived. Following the ever-popular 90 Ocean, this latest addition to the Ocean family of Sunseeker yachts offers something completely novel in the Sunseeker range.

A significant interior volume transforms this yacht into something entirely new, appealing to an altogether different type of owner. An enclosed flybridge offers increased air-conditioned interior comfort, suitable for extreme hot or cold climates or for those seeking greater privacy. The helm station, typically positioned on the main deck, has moved to a single helm on the flybridge, creating a luxurious open plan main deck saloon with multiple seating arrangements, rivalling those found on-board a superyacht.  Powered by Twin MAN V12 1650 or 1900 engines, she achieves a comfortable top speed of 27 knots.
