Luxury Cruise in Capri with private Yacht and dedicated crew: Some ideas about the dream you will live

The luxury cruise to Capri is structured in five days : you will explore the coast of Sorrento - also called the land of the Sirens – with its cliff overlooking the sea and its bittersweet scents of flowers and lemons, and also Ischia and Procida real treasures full of mythical places narrated even in the Odyssey .

You will then land in Capri , an island dotted with wonderful villas and gardens , loved since ancient times: an example is Villa Jovis, one of the 12 villas built here by the Roman Emperor Tiberius. The island satisfies both who loves to discover magnificent and hidden corners and who loves nature and breathtaking views.

You will then discover Nerano, Positano and Amalfi . The first town, meeting point between the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts, is surrounded by greenery and its bay is one of the most interesting on the coast; you will admire Positano, with its unique panorama: a village located on a hill that reaches the sea and characterized by tiny streets and stairways that gently descend to the sea. Finally, Amalfi. Amalfi was one of the maritime republics of Italy: its history, its houses perched on the coast that illuminate the sea at night, do not need any presentation.

Ischia and Procida

The day is dedicated both to the largest and the smallest of the islands of the archipelago: Ischia, the green island, famous for its thermal springs, and Procida, with its colorful fishermen's houses, connected by a bridge to the islet of Vivara, WWF Oasis. At the end of the day you will land in the private port of Ischia where you will spend the night safely in a splendid setting.

Departure is scheduled at 10:00 from the port of Ischia, after enjoying breakfast prepared by the crew. The day is entirely dedicated to Capri, with its Faraglioni and Piazzetta and all the most fascinating and characteristic points of the island.  This tour is a must do at least once in a lifetime!

Nerano, Positano and Amalfi

After breakfast, we will depart from Capri in the direction of Amalfi. You will visit the Bay of Nerano, one of the most evocative places on the Amalfi Coast, and Positano, a  very glamorous location. Then the wonderful Amalfi, declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO. You will spend the night in the port of the Ancient Maritime Republic, but if the weather conditions allow it, the yacht will remain near the bay of Positano as you will spend the night surrounded by a breathtaking view.

Breakfast on board and then the return cruise will head towards Sorrento. Another dip in the sea of ​​the Sirens and then the return, with the disembarkation scheduled by 6 p.m.

Day 1 Naples to Capri

Over the centuries, the island of Capri has drawn visitors from the ancient Roman emperors to today's international celebrities. Your cruise will begin from this most glamorous of islands, where you will arrive on board a private yacht from the port of Naples .

The first stop during your cruise will be at the Grotta Bianca (White Grotto), where you can even swim into the grotto, if you'd like. Afterwards, we will sail past the Faraglioni sea stacks , Capri's most famous sight.

If sea conditions are optimal and it's not too crowded, we will sail through the natural arch in the Stella sea stack, the middle rock formation of the Faraglione group. According to legend, if you make a wish or kiss your sweetheart while passing through the arch, you will have good fortune and your love will be eternal!

After sailing past the Faraglioni, we will continue on to Marina Piccola and visit the Grotta Verde (Green Grotto), where the color of the water is truly spectacular! It takes about two hours to circle the island, but we will make it in three so you can relax and enjoy the beautiful coastline, stop for a dip, or bask in the sun.

For a "stellar" meal under the stars, we recommend Il Riccio just next to the Blue Grotto! Savor the endless options in the "room of temptation", an entire room dedicated to the traditional sweets and pastries of Naples. Try one of each...we won't tell! Once we have docked at the Marina of Capri in the afternoon, you can head up to the Piazzetta for a cocktail before exploring the shops and boutiques along Via Camerelle, the most elegant street in town.

You will stay over on the first and second nights in the exclusive Marina Grande port on Capri.

Day 2 Capri and Anacapri

The island of Capri has two towns: Capri and Anacapri . The latter sits at the foot of Mount Solaro, which has a peak that is 588 meters above sea level. Afer a leisurely breakfast on board, you can take a walk through the center and the lush Gardens of Augustus , with its spectacular view over the Faraglioni and dramatic Via Krupp, built by the German industrialist Friederich Krupp at the beginning of the 20th century. During your walk, stop in at the Carthusia boutique and choose one of their exclusive profumes so you will always have the fragrance of Capri around you!

After exploring the center of Capri, it's time to head to Anacapri. If you're not afraid of heights, we suggest taking the chairlift up to the top of Mount Solaro . The scenic overlook at the top boasts 360° views of the island from the Bay of Naples past the Sorrentine Peninsula to the Amalfi Coast.

After spending your morning on land, it's time to pull up anchor and have fun at sea in the afternoon, finding the best spots to swim along the coast of Capri.

Day 3 Capri to Positano

In Positano , you can savor stunning views of the colorful jumble of houses clinging to the coastal cliff and the bright majolica cupola of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta from sea. Positano is known for its clothing boutiques and workshops selling handmade sandals, so be sure to choose some elegant white linen clothes and bespoke lather sandals from one of the town's many shops.

For lunch, you can choose to dine on board or at one of the local restaurants. We recommend:

• Lunch or dinner with a view over Positano at the Le Sirenuse
• The Michelin-starred Zass at Hotel Il San Pietro

We suggest returning on board at sunset to watch the beautiful colors of the sky and sea as the sun dips behind the Li Galli islets, perhaps while sipping a glass of Champagne and snacking on fresh fruit. For an unforgettable experience, spend your third night at open sea. Positano is the only town on the Amalfi Coast that does not have a marina, but there are floating buoys where ships can safely moor further out on the water for the night.

Day 4 Positano to Amalfi and Ravello

Today we move on from beautiful Positano in the morning and sail towards Conca de Marini . Along the coastline, you can see the area's traditional terraced lemon groves and one of the 30 Saracen watchtowers that once guarded the coast on the point of Isca. We'll continue to Praiano and Furore , home to Italy's only fjord, spanned by a bridge between the towns on the clifftop. Once we reach Amalfi , we will moor so you can explore the city center and climb the monumental staircase to the city's iconic Duomo di Sant'Andrea. You can also stop to sample the famous "Delizia al limone" at Pasticceria Pansa, one of the oldest pastry shops in Amalfi. Amalfi is the perfect place to shop for souvenirs, especially if you like ceramics, wine, or limoncello, as the local stores and boutiques are expert at shipping to destinations across Italy and the world. If you don't mind stretching your legs, you can walk up the hill to Ravello , the most beautiful and serene village on the Amalfi Coast. Take a break from being on the water and relax in the cool and quiet breeze of this clifftop paradise. Ravello is famous for its two breathtaking villas, worth a visit: Villa Rufolo , site of the annual Ravello Festival, and Villa Cimbrone , with its famed Terrace of Infinity.

Day 5 Amalfi to Cetara and Vietri sul Mare

Today we'll discover the lesser-known but still beautiful spots along the Amalfi Coast. Vietri sul Mare is the first of the 13 villages strung along the coast like pearls. This village is located in a protected spot along the bay and is famous across the globe for its unique style of handpainted ceramics , the production of which dates back to the 15th century.

Day 6 Sorrento

Sorrento is the perfect strategic base to explore some of the most beautiful and famous attractions along Italy's southern coast , most importantly the archaeological site of Pompeii (about 40 minutes away by car). Often called "Land of the Sirens", Sorrento is also full of charming shops selling local handicrafts like handmade leather sandals and limoncello. You can also purchase local gourmet foods and wine and other unique souvenirs in the town center.

With its spectacular view over the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius, Sorrento boasts spectacular sunsets over the water from these scenic terraces:

After breakfast, we'll set course for Ischia so you can spend the day relaxing in one of the island's historic thermal spas!

Procida is a small fishermen's island with lovely sandy beaches and colorful waterfront houses. Ischia , on the other hand, has been famous for centuries for its thermal springs, mentioned in the works of Virgil as being particularly curative during the Roman empire.

Sorrento, Nerano and Positano

If Positano is able to enchant from the ground, the sea is truly amazing. The colors of the houses, as a whole, give the feeling of being in front of a painting that depicts an enchanted place, a modern crib set in a seaside village, with bougainvillea flowers that cover the roofs of houses and pergolas along the alleys, while the mosaic of the majestic dome of the church of Santa Maria Assunta is gently combined with a wonderful natural scenery. The excursion to Positano includes a departure from Sorrento and continues along the coast of Massa Lubrense, to Punta della Campanella, the most extreme edge of the Sorrento Peninsula, where the coast bows to the sea. From here on it follows a pristine natural landscape, with a continuation of bays, caves and small beaches where you can reconcile with nature.  Positano is preceded by the famous bay of Nerano, where you cannot miss a stop to admire the long stretch of beach with its restaurants by the sea, renowned for the typical Mediterranean cuisine based on fresh fish, where it is possible to stop for lunch during the course the excursion. Leaving Nerano, a tour around the islets of "Li Galli" also called "delle Sirene" is a must, because, according to legend, at that point Ulysses managed to resist the song of the Sirens and these, due to humiliation, threw themselves into sea ​​turning into stones. Visitors with young children in the group can treat them to the amazing taste of Italian ice cream in one of the many gelaterias around Piazza Umberto I, and the hours will pass by while exploring the souvenir shops and museums among the labyrinthine streets lined with colourful Majolica tiles.

The island of Capri and the town by the same name attract superyacht charterers and luxury yacht owners the world over for the scenic white cliffs, charming Mediterranean towns and relaxed pace of life beside the sea shore.

The port of Capri is the perfect place to dock while you sunbathe on the adjacent Cala Grande Beach, or head into town for some shopping in the exclusive boutiques. Sample Italian coffee at its finest and watch the world go be from one of the many cafes, then visit the cliff-top Gardens of Augustus, from which you can see the sharp turns of Via Krupp winding down the valley.

The afternoon is the perfect time to escape on your luxury yacht and cruise to a sheltered anchorage. Here the group can spend the hours playing on the jet skis and water skis, swimming above colourful corals, or simply soaking in the sunshine on the sundeck sun loungers or in the Jacuzzi.

The south eastern side of the island is particularly attractive and seen at its best only by boat: Sail through the pale blue water of Belvedere of Punta Cannone, visit the White Grotto or take out the kayaks and paddleboards to take in the coast at your own pace.

Capri receives plenty of sunshine from May until the end of the summer Mediterranean charter season in late September, and temperatures rise from approximately 20°C/68°F to 24C/75°F before dipping in October. Sea temperatures climb in May from 18°C/64°F to 27°C/81°F in August, while the driest period is in June and July, when the sunlight hours are also at their peak of 10 each day.

She is a combination of classic style & modern comfort, designed by Glade Johnson. CAPRI I can accommodate 12 guests in six luxurious cabins including a full beam master with king size bed, vanity, and sitting room. The expansive onyx bathroom features his and hers facilities, 4 closets including a large walk in closet, jacuzzi bathtub and spacious shower. One Twin Guest cabin on the main deck , a further three double and one twin cabin can be found on the lower deck. All guest cabins offer spacious marble bathrooms with tubs. The yacht offers a fabulous range of contemporary spaces on board for relaxation and entertaining. A classically styled saloon and dining room featuring furniture of precious woods with luxury fabrics are located on the main deck, while the upper deck saloon is light and airy, offering amazing sea views. Capri I hosts generous dining and seating outside areas for up to 12 guests at the main and upper aft decks. Sunbathing areas are plentiful on her fly bridge, with sun loungers surrounding the large Jacuzzi, and sun pads and further seating situated forward of the bridge. She also boasts a fully equipped gym on the bridge deck, and a fantastic selection of water toys.

How do i visit the blue grotto with a private boat or tour.

The Blue Grotto is managed like a museum, so no private boat tour includes the entrance ticket to the cave. You must purchase your ticket separately at the grotto entrance, where there is a floating ticket office. Visits inside the grotto are possible only when the weather and sea conditions permit.
