for me - I have to appreciate that level of honesty. When I finally found a craft I liked Joe was supportive throughout the process, from contract to survey to delivery. He was even trying to track down a last-minute fire suppression certifier when the insurance balked over a 2-day expiration the day we were supposed to run the boat home. I cannot say enough about the high level of personal service, and he has even assisted us in advising us on post-purchase service work on the boat. I hope to have this boat for a long time, but I would certainly return to Galati!

the price, his response was no but we could build it in as cash back from the seller. I asked him how much the delivery would cost and he said around 13,000 to 15,000 in fuel and captain. He said this in front of myself, my son and my best friend. He then said let's build in a little cushion and let's put $20,000 in the contract to be safe. I signed the contract with the understanding that the delivery dollars where all expensed into the contract. When the boat was finally delivered the cost was just over 31000. I feel that the broker who has been doing this for a long time and is very familiar with the delivery of these size vessels according to him, should have known, and not missed this quote by 16,000. When you do business with a company that does this all the time you expect that what they are telling you is truthful and honest, in this case it was all about closing a deal. I then Contacted Joe Galati and even he seemed very dismissive of the issue when brought to his attention.

Sales is as good as it gets. The folks I've dealt with have been friendly, knowledgable, and not pushy at all. You can tell they are true boaters and they want to build a lasting relationship. Other places I've gone to feel more like used car sales lots. A lot of pressure to buy, a lot of gimmicks with the price and trade-in, and not a big selection to choose from so they push certain brands over others. Galati has several brands they carry for new boats, but they also have a very large brokerage business that can get you into a slightly used boat for thousands less. And they rely on Coastal Wave Marine to do their service, so you can be sure they'll stand behind the products they sell. There are a couple of good dealers in the Tampa Bay area that I would do business with, and Galati is at the top of that list.

Galati Yacht Sales / Parker Blalock did an outstanding job with every aspect of our recent boat purchase . Parker went over and above overseeing and following through on any questions or concerns I had throughout the process. Galati protected the interests of both the buyer and seller with equal concern and efficiency . Limited selection but very knowledgable salespeople. I did find better prices elsewhere but like Sam, didn't like the used car mentallity. The guys here are life long boaters and have a nice laid back attitude. Made it a nice buying experience

We bought a used Tiara from these guys. Pep Shappee was the listing broker who has extensive knowledge with boats and easily answered any question we had. Pep also went over and above making some special arrangements we needed prior to taking delivery. I highly recommend using Pep if your looking for a boat. Mitch Latva
