Darwin, in Australia’s tropical north, is the capital city of the Northern Territory. Darwin harbour, twice as big as Sydney harbour is where we sail for your sunset cruise and the sunsets are truly something to behold. As locals, we feel blessed everyday to have these treasures on our doorstep.

Weather-wise, the temperature rarely gets below 15 and never gets above 35. We have approximately 12 hours of sunlight every day, and we have a wet season (from about November – March) and a dry season (from about April – October).  Not unsurprisingly, it rains in the wet and it doesn’t in the dry!

So many cruise and harbour experiences means there is something for everyone. All harbour experiences are located at Stokes Hill Wharf.

What to expect

There are 9 different harbour experiences to choose from.

Select from sunset cruises, jet skiing, historical harbour cruises, fishing charters or luxury catamaran sailing.

It's a great way to see Darwin in a new light and learn more about its marine history.

All harbour experiences depart from the docks at Stokes Hill Wharf. The docks are numbered, so ensure you know which dock your are departing from.

There is limited parking at Stokes Hill Wharf, be sure to arrive ahead of time.

Sea Darwin offers two unique eco cruises, one an affordable unique dinner cruise with fish’n chips and champagne as the sunsets on Darwin Harbour, and the other a sunset eco cruise to see the nesting flatback turtles on Bare Sand Island. If neither of these cruises suit you, then there is an array of others to choose from:

Sea Darwin: Sunset Fish and Chips

5.45PM – 7.15 PM ($69 ADULT; $60 CHILD)

The most affordable and unique sunset dinner cruise available in Darwin. Experience the famous Top End sun set over Fannie Bay on this Darwin Harbour sunset cruise with a difference. Leaving Stokes Hill wharf at 1745 hours a fast boat ride will take you past the sights and sounds of Darwin city seascape to arrive at Cullen Bay or Fisherman's Wharf where you will pick up your fish’n chips. Eat your dinner accompanied by a glass of bubbly, the warm wind, an exquisite tropical sunset and a harbour full of intrigue, as you causally cruise around to find the best position for your Darwin Harbour sunset photo.
