Day trips :

Join us for a two hour daysail on the elegant Schooner Surprise out of Camden, Maine. We sail around the magnificent Penobscot Bay. On our Camden day cruises we will see lighthouses, wildlife, private yachts and summer estates. We offer Sunset sails, Tuesday night Sunset sails with live music, Full moon sails and Fireworks sails. We sail 7 days a week from mid May to mid October. Get involved and help raise sails or steer the boat, we are great with kids! Come and join us for a cruise on board the most famous windjammer in Maine. We offer environmentally friendly boat tours. We have limited amount of passengers with cushioned seating for all. Living Spaces

With a practical modern interior, the boat is easy to move around and the fittings are cleverly de-signed. The living spaces are spacious and bright open to the exterior, such as the saloon, which has an all-round view and extends outdoors into the cockpit offering a shaded lounge space. The galley is midship, which means that the guests can interact with the chef. Meals are taken in the saloon, inside, or in the shaded cockpit.

6 guests can live aboard La Surprise, in the comfort of 3 large double cabins with en suite shower rooms. A 4th cabin can accommodate 2 children or 1 adult. For a day outing, La Surprise can cater to up to 20 guests. On tailored cruises, La Surprise’s helpful crew includes a captain, a first mate and a chef, ready to respond to their guests’ requests.

“Our focus was to create a design that not only captures attention with its sleek lines but also enhances the onboard experience for owners and guests alike,” managing director of Red Yacht Design Fatih Surekli said in a statement.

With a beam of roughly 36 feet, Livia offers a generous amount of room onboard. The interior includes five large staterooms, with each one opening to a private terrace with sea views. The owner’s suite is even more luxurious, spanning two decks and showcasing a lounge and private swimming pool.

The extravagance continues outdoors. The sprawling sundeck is home to a bar, an infinity pool, and a plush lounge, while the upper deck is adorned with a circular lounge, a fire pit, a giant dining table, and an outdoor cinema. A few more steps below, the main deck sports an epic sky lounge and the beach club is fitted with yet another pool. Wellness buffs are also catered to, with a sauna and gym located on the lower deck. 

Livia will also be quite the cruiser. The yard didn’t go into specifics regarding propulsion, but says the yacht will have a cruising speed of 12 knots and deliver “exceptional performance on long voyages.”

There are a seating and dining area comfortably accommodating all guests while the large open galley allows guests to converse with the chef while preparing delicious meals.

Another great dining area is found on the spacious aft deck. There are also numerous sun bathing areas on board.

Who exactly is it that requires this of a boat manufacturer in the EU? I've seen escape hatches on several models of multihulls, but they were a designer's choice, not required.

That's why it's designed using a foam core to make it lightweight by reducing weight wherever possible. This vessel will most likely never let you down if you want to circumnavigate the bluewater on a high-performance boat that is safe and comfortable.
