From 7 September to 15 December 2024 , the long-awaited event Autumn in Barbagia returns, the event that accompanies visitors to discover the 'heart' of Sardinia on a journey through traditions, culture and gastronomy.
Promoted and organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Nuoro and the ASPEN Company, the event, now in its 24th edition, involves 32 towns , and aims to raise awareness of the Barbagia area, its excellent production - food and wine and crafts -, the historical-artistic heritage and local customs and traditions, which are continually renewed in traditional places.
The municipalities of the circuit - starting with Bitti during the weekend of 7 and 8 September, and concluding with Orune and Ortueri on 14 and 15 December - open their cortes , the courtyards of typical Sardinian houses, to visitors, welcoming them and leading them on an experiential journey through flavors, craftsmanship and historical-artistic heritage. The other towns are: Oliena (14-15 September); Austis and Sarule (21-22 September); Dorgali , Lollove and Orani (28-29 September); Lula , Meana Sardo and Orotelli (5-6 October); Gavoi , Onanì and Tonara (12-13 October); Belvì , Orgosolo and Sorgono (19-20 October); Aritzo and Ottana (26-27 October); Desulo and Mamoiada (1-3 November); Ovodda and Olzai (9-10 November); Nuoro and Tiana (16-17 November); Atzara , Lodine and Ollolai (23-24 November); Gadoni and Oniferi (30 November -3 December) and Fonni (7-8 December) For more information, visit the website cuoredellasardegna.it
