Seattle Singles Yacht Club
Seattle Singles Yacht Club is an atypical club, in that it’s primarily for single men and women who love boating. SSYC is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. They’re’re a great place to meet people and enjoy Seattle, on the water and off. There’s a dance after at least one of their Monday meetings every month, an overnight boat trip every month, and social events nearly every day of the week. They also produce an annual sailing race and auction for charity.

Seattle Singles YC
Ssyc race to fight hunger.
Seattle Singles Yacht Club’s NW Harvest Benefit Race is coming up September 21st. It’s another great way NW sailors can have a little fun while helping the community. For all of us Elliott Bay Thursday Nighters, Duck Dodgers, Friday Take-your-timers etc., this is a great chance for a fun race when all the evening racing has been “blacked out.”
Here’s the NOR .
Here’s the course.

SSYC provides a race committee boat, marked course, flags, horns, and will post results on the SeattleSinglesYC.com website and the Goosebumps Facebook page . No protests will be heard or accepted.
Goosebumps 2022 on Lake Union is set for the last three Sundays of January (16, 23, 30) 2022 and first three Sundays of February (6,13, 20) 2022. Come on out this Sunday!

1:05 p.m. Start for All the Rest
The race committee is on VHF channel 69, please check in with the committee boat by picking up an updated race info sheet at the committee boat. The committee is usually off of China Harbor restaurant on Westlake.
Geese will be awarded to the top three series finishers: (Blue, Red and Yellow) A teal goose will be awarded to all starters each season.
If the wind is too radical or snow too deep, the committee will not hesitate to abandon a particular race. Updates will be posted on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/goosebumbrace (note this URL is not a typo and maybe it can get fixed in the future but for now this website has a “b” where the “p” should be).
So bundle up, come join the fun, and get the year of sailing started off right!
