S/Y Baracuda Valletta is a Perini Navi sailing yacht, a masterpiece of the well-known interior designer John Pawson, with contemporary, minimal, clear lines based on the concepts of light, space and proportion.

She accommodates up to 10 guests in 5 luxurious suites; one full beam master cabin with his and hers bathrooms, two double and two twin cabins with one semi double and one single bed, all with ensuite facilities. Her contemporary character is enhanced by the state-of-the-art AV System.

The transom door can be cleverly opened to transform into a large platform for sunbathing and swimming. The hydraulically operated swimming platform can be submerged half meter below the water's surface accessed by guests via a staircase. Outstanding outdoor areas comprising of a wide fully shaded dining and lounge area with electrically elevated table on the aft and a sundeck with sunbathing and a shaded lounge area.

MYBA Terms: The Charter Fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, tools, stores, cleaning material and basic consumable stores for engine-room, deck and cabins, etc., the crew’s wages, food and the insurance of the yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer’s liability insurance. The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses. These include fuel for the yacht, fuel for the ski-boats or other tenders, food for the charterers, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks for the Charterers, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht’s own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and/or electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via Satcom, Radio Telephone or telex costs, hire costs of special equipment placed on board at the request of the Charterer and crew gratuities. Prices exclude VAT (if applicable). VAT calculation depends on the embarkation port' country and on the cruising area. Charters shorter than a week are also available, depending on the date.

Baracuda Valletta is a magnificent luxury sailing yacht built by the famous Italian shipyards Perini Navi. Its aluminum hull, tapered rudder, elongated waterline, and tilting keel are perfect for experiencing a luxurious escape sailing around Greece in summer or the Caribbean in winter.

This Perini Navi sailboat can accommodate up to ten people in five luxurious cabins located on the lower deck: the master suite and four guest cabins. All cabins onboard Baracuda Valletta have ensuite bathrooms.

John Pawson, a guru of minimalism, designed the Baracuda Valletta. The result is a minimalist and luxurious sailing yacht that highlights all the know-how of his craft. The extended windows provide natural lighting and a panoramic view. The main deck is designed as a living space, without partitions, to keep a clear and panoramic view. The style and philosophy of the project are straightforward and allow clean lines with concepts of light, space, and proportion to run the show.

The aft end of the yacht can be opened almost entirely to transform it into a large platform for launching tenders and swimming.

Vaggelis Karapanos

Captain is a Greek national. He holds Skipper A’ Class Diploma, Diploma Sailing Coach in Offshore and Triangle Sea, GMDSS Operator Certificate; Operator of Outline of Maritime Instruments, Use of Automatic Devices, Fire Fighting and Life Saving appliances, Use of depth ammeter, autopilot, automatically rudders. He has worked on various sailing yachts including two Perinis 45m S/Y Fivea & 43m S/Y Christianne B. He has undertaken an Atlantic crossing from Spain to Miami and he has an extensive experience in racing sailing at offshore and triangle sea. He is offshore Sailing Instructor in the Yacht Club of Palaiou Falirou in Greece. Also, he was supervised the construction of S/Y Fivea at the Italian shipyard Perini Navi and he was responsible for the sea trials and delivery. He speaks English. He enjoys racing sailing and fishing. Vaggelis is very experienced in sailing and your clients will live an incredible experience onboard S/Y Baracuda.

Daniel Northall

Chief Officer

Daniel was born in 1986, an English national. He holds a Commercially Endorsed Yacht master Offshore Sail Certification as well as STCW 95, PADI Open Water, City and Guilds Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery & VHF certifications. From 2004 to 2008 he completed his Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship at S. Robinson and Associates and he worked as a carpenter at Classic Yacht Shipwright where he took part in the refits of Ranger, Antares and Aphrodite. Also, from 2008 to 2010 he was in the race team of S/Y Marigan and S/Y Avel for the classic regattas around Balearic Islands, SOF and Palmavela regattas and he worked on board Creole as a carpenter during the winter and deckhand during the summer season. From 2010 until 2012 he worked as 1st mate on S/Y Aeolian, he was skipper on S/Y Alpair and bosun for a shipyard period, shipwright for the season & bowman whilst sailing on S/Y Germania Nova. Daniel has a lot of experience and skills in various aspects of sailing and deck maintenance and he is definitely an asset to S/Y Baracuda. He also speaks fluent Spanish and he enjoys diving and snowboarding.

Rene Jasmine Honrada

Rene was born in 1968 and is a Philippine national. He has studied at the Gala School of Culinary Art in Philippines He has been awarded 5 times at Poros International Yachting Chef Competition and with Maya Chichen Japanese Cooking Award. Rene has 20 years of experience as Head Chef in luxurious restaurants and hotels and on various yachts ranging 40m to 75m; M/Y Sherakhan, M/Y RM Elegant, M/Y O’Pati, M/Y O’Pari, M/Y Blue Belle, M/Y Trinity II & M/Y Happy Dolphin. He has great knowledge of the Mediterranean and International cuisine. He has a passion for cooking and he produces exceptional high standard dishes which can satisfy the most demanding guests. He enjoys travelling and cooking.

Annabelle Fielding

Annabelle is from the island of Mauritius, but was raised in Australia along with her seven sisters and two brothers. She is 31 years old. She started in Hospitality at a young age working in prestigious Hotels around the world, completing a Hospitality Certificate in Melbourne. Prior to yachting, she worked for five years as a Personal Assistant/Sales Consultant for an Executive Real Estate Agent on the Gold Coast, Australia, improving her skills and passion for bringing people together with successful results. Anabelle joined the super yacht industry in 2010 to continue her love for being a hospitable host to guests and clients. She strives to broaden her love and knowledge for food, wine, cocktails and enjoys organizing events, parties and functions. Annabelle has also completed a Silver Service, Butler and Wine knowledge courses. She enjoys yoga, pilates and watersports.

Kyrie Watson

Kyries is 29 years old, a British national. She is full of energy, with a bubbly personality and she has fitted into the yachting industry perfectly. She holds a Diploma in Health and Social Studies. She has worked on two super motor yachts Titan and Eclipse and she has gained a great experience. She is a diligent and enthusiastic worker and gives a high attention to detail. Prior to yachting shehas worked in luxury Hotels & Spa and in a nursery school that helped her get on verywell with children. Kyrie enjoys meeting new people, navigating new environments and embracing new challenges.

Tarian Van Niekerk

Tarian is from South Africa and she is 22 years old. She has worked on M/Y Don, S/Y Mari Cha III, M/Y Big D and S/Y Pacer. Prior to yachting she has worked at a Chalet in France and in luxury restaurants. Tarian always provides a first class service to guests on board. Also, she has been the South African Latin American Dance Champion for the past 5 years and she is a very disciplined person. In her spare time she loves dancing. She has a happy, relaxed person and is excited to start the season.

Christian Starmer

Christian is 27 years old, a British National. He has worked for more than 5 years on various sailing yachts such as S/Y Germania Nova, S/Y Binziyad, S/Y Thula and S/Y Mystere, and he has specialised in maintenance and seamanship. He holds STCW95. ENG1, Powerboat license, VHF, Advanced First Aid, NVQ Level 2 in Service and Hospitality and AVA level 1 Swimming Instructor. He was also involved in a full refit of a sailing yacht and as a delivery crew member. Christian is a fast learner and hard working person and he is a valuable asset to the crew. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and travelling.

He holds a License Hellenic Merchant Maritime (Skipper A ‘Class) and has worked on various Sailing Yachts around the world. Captain Vangelis has vast knowledge of the Eastern Mediterranean and knows the waters very well. He has also undertaken an Atlantic crossing from Spain to Miami and he has extensive experience in racing sail at offshore and Olympic Class boats since a very young age, winning medals in various classes. In his spare time, Captain Baloo enjoys relaxing with his Wife and two Children. CHIEF ENGINEER, George Sinos from Greece, Age 38 George holds his Chief Engineer Unlimited License, a speed boat license, and numerous certificates such as SSO, Ro-Ro passenger, Advanced firefighting, LNG firefighting, High Voltage at ABS etc. George started his career in 2005 at bulk and LNG carriers entered the yachting industry in 2015 and he has worked on various yachts. The main deck is conceived as an open living space, with no partitions, with the aim to keep a much clearer, unencumbered visual field than is conventionally the case on sailing yachts of this type. The partial central wall in the salon was chosen not only for the subtle beauty of its colour and texture but also for the way it serves to dematerialize the central stair volume.

The style and project philosophies are extreme simplicity and clean lines with concepts of light, space and proportion. The 77.7m/254'11" motor yacht 'Malia' offers the unmissable chance to charter a brand new superyacht, having only launched this year. Delivered by the Greek shipyard Golden Yachts and features interior styling by Studio Vafiadis and Massari Design, she can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 8 cabins.

Built in 2023, Malia is designed for exquisite indoor/outdoor living and boasts voluminous interior and exterior spaces across several decks: ideal for bronzing, lounging or entertaining. Her features include a spa, elevator and beach club.  

Guest Accommodation

Malia offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests in 8 suites. There are 12 beds in total, including 6 king and 6 singles. Excellent service is guaranteed, with twenty-two crew members on board to look after your every need.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained such as a serene luxury spa, for the utmost in relaxation. Soothe tired limbs and reinvigorate yourself in the sauna or take a plunge in the pool under the sun. Even the most discerning of charter guests will enjoy the included beach club and soak up the bubbles in style in the deck jacuzzi.

Malia benefits from some excellent features to improve your charter such as an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Stay connected to the outside world on long voyages with satellite communications or make your evenings more memorable with stunning underwater lights. Whether you want to work, use social media or stream movies on board this yacht, you can with Wi-Fi connectivity and guests will experience complete comfort while chartering thanks to air conditioning.

Performance & Range

Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 15 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots with a range of up to 4,872 nautical miles at cruising speed.

Malia has aboard a plentiful range of water toys and accessories ready to entertain you and your guests whilst on charter. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. Additionally, there are towable toys offering fun and adventure. Also there are three waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. If that isn't enough Malia also features a seabob, wakeboards, kayaks, inflatable water toys and paddleboards. When it comes to Tenders, Malia has you covered - with five tenders, including a 7.5m/24'7" Castoldi Jet Tender.

Malia and her crew are available for charter this summer for cruising within the Mediterranean. She is already accepting bookings this winter for cruising in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
