A General Description of Motor Yacht LAZY Z

This motor yacht LAZY Z is a superyacht of large proportions. This 51 metre (166 foot) luxury yacht was the work of by Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) in 1997. LAZY Z was previously registered as the project or yacht name Accolade; Lady S. Superyacht LAZY Z is a sumptuous yacht that is able to accommodate as many as 12 passengers on board and has a total of 13 crew. The naval architecture office responsible for this yacht's plans and general arangement on the yacht was Richard Hein and Oceanco. The A Group in addition was the designer which over saw this boat's interior styling.

Build & Design relating to Luxury Yacht LAZY Z

The yacht's wider design collaboration came from Richard Hein and Oceanco. The technical naval architect drawings are a work of Richard Hein. Motor Yacht LAZY Z received her stylish interior designing from the interior design firm of The A Group. the Netherlands is the country that Oceanco Yachts (Alblasserdam Yachtbuilding) built their new build motor yacht in. After her official launch in 1997 in Dreumel the boat was handed over to the owner following sea trials. A spacious area is brought about with a maximum beam (width) of 9.45 metres or 31 feet. With a 3.11m (10.2ft) draught (maximum depth) she is deep. The material steel was used in the building of the hull of the motor yacht. Her superstructure over the hull is created with the use of aluminium. In 2008 extra refit work and modernisation was additionally finished.

Engines & Speed On M/Y LAZY Z:

The vessel retains two capable MTU diesel engine(s) and can manage a comparatively good max speed underway of around 18 knots. The main engine of the ship creates 1714 horse power (or 1261 kilowatts). Her total HP is 3428 HP and her total Kilowatts are 2522. Coupled to the LAZY Z engines are twin screw propellers. With respect to the ship’s stabalisers she utilises Vosper. Concerning bow thrusters she utilises Cramm. Her efficient cruising speed is 15 knots which provides a range of 3500.

Superyacht LAZY Z Guest Accommodation:

Providing bedding for a limit of 12 welcome guests staying on board, the LAZY Z accommodates them luxuriously. The boat requires around 13 able crew members to run.

Around Sept 2009 LAZY Z cruised to Tangier, in Morocco. LAZY Z also navigated the area within Tanger-Assilah during October 2009. Heinen & Hopman is the the company which manufactured the air-con chosen in this boat. She has a teak deck.

Lazy Z is a custom motor yacht launched in 1997 by Oceanco in Dreumel, Netherlands and most recently refitted in 2015.

Founded in 1987, Oceanco is a shipyard that strives to do things differently, building custom superyachts that each stand out as iconic additions to the world superyacht fleet. Superyacht Lazy Z sold and now for charter

The recently sold 51m (168’) superyacht Lazy Z is now available for Mediterranean charter through Merle Wood & Associates.

Lazy Z was built by the Dutch superyacht yard Oceanco in 1997 and has benefited from the care and attention of a highly experienced captain and crew.

A $4 million refit in 2012 included exterior paint and teak deck work, interior decor, installation of Quantum zero speed stabilisers, 15 year Lloyd’s Class inspections and survey, and a complete service of all mechanical, plumbing and piping systems.

Lazy Z has accommodation for 12 guests in six staterooms.

The full beam owner’s suite is located on the main deck and has its own private observation lounge with 180 degree views and can be used as a private study, breakfast area, or a cosy lounging space.

Five exceptionally generous guest staterooms, each with private en suite baths, are on the lower deck and include three king berth staterooms, one double with a Pullman berth, and one twin cabin.

In addition, a fully equipped gymnasium is easily accessible to all staterooms on the lower deck.

Water toys include an inflatable water slide, two tenders, two Yamaha jet skis, a windsurfer, sea kayaks, water skis, snorkelling gear, scuba diving equipment and fishing tackle.

Known throughout the industry for her exceptional crew, charter rates on Lazy Z are €200,000 per week plus expenses.
